Pre-Assessed..
Hi

Every time I posted thread I got the satisfying answers from people here. This time also I have some questions and I expect quick answers.

My Mom and Sister(10 years old) are in India and my Dad is in USA. I am on Post grad work permit which started on October 2013. I am working full time in my field job. My question is, can I sponsor my mother and sister here.

Somebody told me that it's hard to get visa in my case because we won't be able to show our ties to our country. The reason is my dad is not there and I don't have any other sibling to show that they will go back to their country.

What should I do in this case? How should make them believe that they will leave the country after their visit.

Someone please help me regarding this.

Thanks

What immigration status does your father have in USA?
He got Green Card three years back but he doesn't have citizenship.

How did he get it? Why am I asking? Becasue if your father went to USA without you and your mother , it tells that he did not get thier quite legally (even if later he got his Green card). And Canada could think that "it runs in the family" and it will add more suspisions to your mother and sister visa application.

And of course you are right: "that it's hard to get visa in my case because we won't be able to show our ties to our country". I think when you asked for your visa they were your collateral (ties) in India. And now your "ties" would like to come to visit you.

Hi Regina,

Do you thing I would be in the same situation?
My mother and nephew (10 years old as well) are planning to come visit me next month in June. Originally was coming just my mom, but my nephew who's been sad lately since my bother just past away a month and a half ago likes the idea of coming to visit me in Canada (that will make him smile since I plan to take them to Vancouver, Banff and Jasper and it should be fun).
But I am concern that the officers could deny the visa, even for my mom.
My father past away too 7 month ago so I been wanting her to come visit to relax, but do you think that the officers my think that they are coming to stay?
My mother have properties and a job back home and money in her bank accounts.
My nephew has her mom back home, will be on vacation from school when he comes, my sister-in-law has a house under her name, and a good job back home, but not that much of money in her back account.
1- Do you think they can deny to both or one of them?
2- If yes, why so? under what assumptions?
3- What can we do to (attached additionally) to not have any problem.

Mom's doc:
1- bank accounts with good savings
2- Documents of 2 properties (home and another land)
3- document of car ownership
4- letter from her job (she is a general manager)
5- Trip reservation
6- forms (in the family forms it indicates that my dad is deceased 7 month ago - they ask for the dates)
7- Photocopy of her passport

Nephew's doc:
1- Letter of Authorization of trip from her mom (attaching her biography passport page)
2- Sister-in-Law's home documents (property)
3- Letter from her job (she is a Territory Manager)
4- bank account (not much in bank)
5- Copy of his birth certificate showing that he is the son of my sister-in-law and my brother (who past away)
5- Trip reservation
6- forms (in the family forms it indicates that his father (my bother) is deceased 1 1/2 moth ago - the ask for the dates)
7- Photocopy of his passport

From me:
1- Letter of invitation to both in the same letter (I have attached and itinerary of all the places we want to visit during their trip).
In the letter I indicate that my mom will pay her airfare, my sister-in-law his airfare and my mom and I will take care of all the living expenses while they are visiting.
2- Photocopy of my birth certificate showing that I am my mother's daughter and of my father (who past recently past away)
3- bank accounts with good savings
4- letter from my job (good job, good company and really good salary) - will they think I want to support them?
5- Light and Cable invoices

Please-Please your help!!! This is the first time that anyone from my family will visit me since in the past 2 years both my dad and brother were sick and they could not move and so now we want to relax after all these sad times and have some time to enjoy during my nephew's vacation. But I am hoping both of them get the visa so that they can visit here.

Please your guide ??? thank you ;)
