Super Visa Eligibilty - Recently started employment

Hi All,

I have a very unique scenario , i just started my first employment in Canada in November 2024, my annual salary is well above minimum income requirement to apply for my parent Super visa
However the T4 i had filed for 2024 has only two month salary which is November and December of 2024 this will show that I am below LICO

Am i eligible to apply for my parent Super Visa or should i wait to complete 1 year of employment to have 2025 T4 and then apply. Please advise

Documents we accept

• the last notice of assessment issued by the Canada Revenue Agency
• T4 or T1 for the last tax year
• pay stubs for the most recent 12-month period available
• employment insurance benefit statements
• a letter from an accountant confirming the annual income, if self‑employed
• proof of other sources of income (for example, pension statements)
• a letter from the employer stating the job title, job description and salary
• bank statements

Yes I have seen this but it doesn't answer my situation , i can use a combination of T4, employment letter and paystubs from Nov 2024 and explain that my salary exceeds LICO but not sure if the expectation that in last 12 months my income earned should be more than LICO or is it enough to prove my annual salary is above LICO

As indicated in a different thread, multiple or combination of documents will not be helping you out. Your NOA is mandate along with T4 should prove your income is above LICO.
Your 2 months pay stub with employment letter (along with 2024 NOA/T4) will not help you.

PS : The requirement is 12 month paystub (irrespective of paystub/employment letter) it won't show you met the LICO for the previous year or for the current year.
