hi everybody,
I see u have interesting conversation, sorry to break it.
I wonted to asking something,if somebody knows to answer.
I am currently in canada on visitor visa,if i extended to stay here and wait for finishing of my application,ll they then delay my processing time?if it ll anyhow influence on my application processing time?or it is better to go back home, and wait there?if then ll be faster?I am in big dilemma. before I came I thought everything ll be over till now,but now I seen I got wrong.

Thanks in advance.
Many times i am reading posts and i am laughing, rarely I make comments.I am happy for all that have good news. :)

I dont think it will delay your process or affect it. Like we mentioned before what if you get your passport request and send it from canada and something happens they lose your passport or copr you are stuck here and might have problems. They way i understand it vienna sends your passport back to your address that you put in your application. They might not mail it to canada. To be on the safe side return home....they might ask for interview and you have to go back anyway.

thank u milance for answer,
I though that when they finish my application, since I informed them that I am in Canada now, they ll not ask me for PPR in Vienna. That they ll tell me to go in some visa office here, local one,and finish everything here.it is very risky to send my passport over sea,I know it.so I thought they wd be reasonable,or I got wrong. And interview I think I ll skip it,at least i prey for that.
Did anybody from here(Canada) send his/her passport in Vienna?

I wd like that I can go and back 100 times, but I cant. Can anybody? it is not like I am in some European country.then it ll be piece of cake.
best wishes.

It does not delay the process of your application, only the process of sending the passport to the embassy to get the visa stamp.
I don't know if you have to send the passport to Vienna or if an office in Canada can do it. For now I would stay in the Canada and wait. If you want contact question@cic.gc.ca.

Thank u little apple,
When I call CiC here in Canada for any kind of question they say that I must ask Vienna. When I email Vienna they answer me first that automatic answer, then after a couple of days, that I sd look in processing time which is for Vienna 13+months and nothing else.

I wd like to stay too,not to bother with going back and coming back again.Imagine that I go back in Serbia in july, and have PPR in august?so that in one month to come back and spend for airplane tickets 1500$ and more. But of course that is my problem not their.

If miracle ll happen and they finish in July, but that is too optimistic. :)

When you get ppr what you can do is fly to vienna spend 2-3 days get your visa and fly back. Could be cheaper then going to serbia. And waiting.

The hotline people don't know anything. That's my experience ;-) But I asked a few questions by email (not just concerning PR) and they helped me very fast

I think you need to re-enter Canada when you get PPR. Senior members on the forum wrote about that as I remember. :)

I assume I can go to the nearest US border and do "flagpole"? :)

It is not bad idea, after all. ;)

Either way you go back to serbia you might spend more money then hotel/food in vienna gor a couple of days. Regardless you most likely have to go back.
