HEY GUYS..muby and others i just wanna inform you that today i got my confirmation of permanent residence...and also my cnd visa in passport. so after 3 years waiting..well technicly for both me and my partner....it is over. i applied in march 2013...so good luck to all of you ..................

Congrats! When I think about all we had to go through just to get a simple peace of paper...

We received our GCMS notes today ... our application arrived Vienna on the 31st of October 2013 and they have not touched it since. But hey we have not expected anything else. We ordered GCMS notes to ensure they have my correct contact information on file.

When an officer from Vienna called, my mum just said that I got back to Canada a day earlier. I think she did't mention that I went to my husband, because we were actually in Croatia together and returned to Canada together.
Ljiljana, for the medical; yes, the GCMS notes show how long is medical valid until. I also waited 30 calendar days to get them.
And congratulations on 1 year extension. I hope the process will end a lot sooner than that...

Hi Jelena - yes i hope so too! We recently applied for GCMS notes so we have to wait a bit more for that.. keep me posted if you have any changes in your application - i will too... GOOD LUCK!!

Ok Ok! What can I say!
(It rhymes well doesn't it?)

I guess maybe it's time to play some lotto because its the jackpot day today!

We too just received an email from Vienna with an attachment requesting extra docs for the baby's birth certificate ( Additional family info) a police certificate from Greece, where my wife now rightfully resides ( if we only had been able a few months ago we would have transferred our file to Rome and be gone by now!
And of course they want from me the sponsor a proof of intention to return to Canada. (Yeah it is called Austerity crisis)
I sent them a work offer last year. Now they want another one. Sheiiiit no problem....I will get one!
And then like everyone else they want all these back within 60 days.
I am in Hungary now and should be flying to Greece on Saturday. As of Monday morning we will start collecting these docs and send them off to them!

I was kind a busy last week and couldn't diligently read our threads as I do usually.
And than I'm back to catch up with you guys and I find THIS???

I hope that Vienna get into good cadence and that will hit us from FSW stream soon.
From your timelines I read that they are processing applications from April 2013.
FSW stream has opened in May 2013, and earliest parcels has been sent from CIC to Vienna beginning with July.
But our processing average time is much, much longer then yours, so who knows how long we will need to wait.
Anyway, what is crucially important, is that Vienna work very hard, and is ROLLING

Yep, I'm hoping and praying that I can spend this upcoming Christmas with my hubby and fam. It's been a whole year since I've seen him, and his company still refuses to give him time off (sucks). It'll be a relief once it's all headed to Vienna.

I was able to go back and spend 3 months with my wife. Coming back was tough and after ordering gmcs notes and looking at everything i was thinking this will take us even longer. And then last week we got an email asking for new police certificate and proof of relationship which was like a ray of light. They might still ask for interview or new medical but im hoping this is the end. I dont wish this on anyone. One way i understand goverenments...on the other it just isnt fair the way they do this process. I thought our app was straight forward but they still ask for more. Then i think back to friends and relatives with less evidence and time that got proccessed in months not years and it doesnt make sense. I sometimes vent and rant but thats why we are here be patient and stay positive. Dont stop keeping evidence after the fact. You never know good luck
