Congrats Smokovnitsa!

@ maarten:. I'm Dutch as well. I'm not sure, but I know a girl from australia who had a WHP was able to keep on working after application of her spousal sponsorship (even when her WHP expired). I'm not sure if it will be the same in your case, because Australia is common wealth.

Congratulations Smokovnitsa! 27 months sounds terribly long, I hope you weren't away from your loved one that entire time ...

@maggie. Did she apply inland or outland, because I would guess that with inland is possible due to implied status, but for outland that doesn't exists? We are applying outland because it is faster and I want to be able to visit the Netherlands while waiting.

:D Smoknovitsa Congratulations all the best

And all to new members in Vienna Forul Welcome , hope your process is going to be shorter than ours, from last year .

Tom , any news for you

Tom i know it is really hard this waiting period , i remebred last year i was like you guys going crazy of waiting , i remebred in Jun and July most of Vienna Officers was in summer vacations and waiitng time killed us.
we are doing fine we are just searching for the job now. we are happy

@ maarten, she applied inland. So yes, I guess that's why she could keep on working. I'm not sure when you apply outland, and you leave Canada and then come back if they will let you easy into Canada. During our application I never left because I was worried they wouldn't let me back in.

Well, if I have a work permit etc, I expect them to let me in again. But the risk that your application will be cancelled if you are doing inland and are refused re-entry is not worth the benefits of inland, imho.

Hey Mr. Tom how are you? What m thinking is that Smokovnitsa has got his COPR this month means they are working on files rather than officers gone on strike.. so we should keep our hopes high.. Wht is ur thinking?

I believe too that Vienna is working even on Saturdays. It's just that they have changed their ways lately and are not communicating with their clients (us) very much.
Like a lot of people are saying we probably will not get anything untill PPR or COPR is sent. What else to think I do not know.
I just hope to God that if they decide for us to have an interview thaey wont delay it too much and also that if we do have to have it they will call us to go to Pristina and not in Vienna because my spouse will not be able to travel there due to pregnancy.
BTW Newpal where are you from? Where is the July 2012 speradsheet? have you been left alone from your thread?

Have a nice day
Tom

Then you should be fine. I already used both my IEC programs before we got married and applied for sponsorship, therefore I stayed on a visitors visa. I think if you are able to get a work permit that's def the way to go.

Hello everyone,

I am so glad to have found this forum. It's comforting to know that I'm not alone.

Some background, I am sponsoring my hubby from the Czech Republic. After 2 years of being together, we were married here, in Canada, August 2011. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, we had a delay in sending our application. We finally got it sent out in December 2012. Now we wait!! We think we have a straight forward application, but who knows what Vienna will think. That's the hard part!! (Next to the waiting of course!)

Here's our timeline:
Medicals done: August 30, 2012
Application sent: December 4, 2012
Sponsorship approval/File Transfer: December 14, 2012
Vienna AOR: January 28, 2012
Docs request: Jannuary 28 and March 27 (strange situation)
The info they requested was already in the package. But of course my husband sent the info again within a couple of days. On March 27 we received an email requesting the same info. Maybe reminder email? My husband was really not impressed by this but sent the info again. Since then we have heard nothing. Terrible thing is that there is no one to talk or ask questions to at this office. You are completely left in the dark.

I have read that Ecas is not reliable but to be quite honest, we check everyday. It still says 'application received'
and 'medical results have been received'. Will Ecas change to In Process, are we In process now? Not sure I get this part.

We just want this to be over asap, so we can just finally be together and start a family. Traveling back and forth and Skype are just not cutting it anymore! Hopefully good news will start flowing for all of us soon.

Hello Elleattend and welcome to our Vienna thread

We are boiling in the same pot here :D
It seems most of the 2013 applicants with exemption only for a few never got an AOR. Vienna broke an almost perfect string of sending AOR's last year.
Anyway! i have updated you in the spreadsheet here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AjvSDmSjyQZ0dE5DZk9Ua2ViTDRGZXhrM0w3V2xtdVE#gid=0
You may update this spreadsheet by your self when needed but try to keep the uniformity please :)
Try to find December 2012 thread so you may be added in their spreadsheet as well!

Wishing you a fast process and a faster landing!

Regards
