Did you contact Vienna , i would recomend to email them , or you can contact your MP and they will contact in your name embassy ,
Wow that is really long waiting time

We still haven't contact the embassy. We called RCMP Canada and the machine said that ink fingerprint processing time usually takes 9.5 weeks. We want to wait 10 weeks and then to contact Vienna.

So I`m a permanent resident in Canada, and I'm sponsoring my husband from Germany through Vienna. we also have a son together who was born in Canada last year.
We filed our Application on January 30,2013, and Missisauga received our application on January 31,2013...
Then on February 21,2013 I received a letter saying I was approved to sponsor my husband and that they would sent the application to Vienna...
Now on the ecas under Sponsorship application status it says Decision made...and under Permanent residence application status it says
We received your application for permanent residence on January 31, 2013. Medical results have been received. Does that mean that Vienna has received our application?

Hello and welcome to Vienna thread

What you see in the E-cas is only a confirmation that the CIC has accepted your files and that they also have your Medicals and that htey also had made a Decision (your SA).
Vienna should have sent you an AOR (Acknowledge of Receipt) email but so far most of us in this forum had not received one as Vienna it seems is lacking this skill

Be patient and just follow up this thread here and also if you wish there is another thread for February applicants where we keep track of our month's progress.
If you like to send me the following info I will add you to February spreadsheet and also to Vienna.

You have been updated in both spreadsheets (Vienna and February)
You may edit and update the Vienna spreadsheet by your self but try to keep the uniformity pls.

I remeberd when they told to us that backround check can take from 3-6 months is dependc , Vienna was last year slow too, i was last year applicant and we waited excatly 1 year ...

I'm also applying through Vienna. My boyfriend's sponsorship was approved on May 27. I haven't received an AOR from Vienna yet but I got an email on June 4th from the embassy in Vienna that I had a 2 month gap in my background form (I'm such a dummy :) and that I have to fill out the form again within 30 days. I did it the same day so it should be fine but at least I know my application arrived in Austria ;-)

After checking out this forum for the last 7 days I hope now that we sent enough proof of our relationship. Some people here had several hundred pages I'm not even close to this. But I guess it depends on the situation, right? We lived together all the time except for 2 occasions of 5 days each. So there was no chance to write hundreds of emails and talk on Skype. I kept all my text messages from the last 15 months on my phone but I couldn't figure out how to print them so I didn't enclose them in my application. Oh well, it's too late now anyway. I guess, I just wait for another 10 or 11 months now...

Hey Apple, I am also from Germany I got AOR 2 in april.. where do u live in Germany? I also have not sent DETAILED things.. becz i dont have it.. only MOBILE CALL BILLS and 30 photos only.. tickets e.t.c. I hope u will get withing 7-9 months.. as u r German Citizen
