Yes, Tipha you are correct. However, when you receive the AOR email it states to contact them as soon as possible if you have not heard anything from Vienna within the 3 months after AOR. I'm assuming that within those 3 months they are to either request additional documents, or request an interview, or best case...grant you PPR. I'm half way from the 3 month mark and have not heard anything. This is why I asked if I should send an email now or wait after the 3 month mark. I guess I answered my own question, I'll just wait and hopefully hear something within the next 1.5 months...

Ah ok, i havent received an AOR of vienna yet, my file has been sent to them on thursday last week, so i didnt know they say that in the letter. But then go ahead and ask, i guess i would give them at least 2 month or 2.5

Just a quick update for any interested; my girlfriend just received her AOR from Vienna, via e-mail. Our applications were originally destined for Berlin, but that's obviously changed; good to hear Vienna isn't terribly slow. We received our Stage 1 approval on June 14.

Is there a Vienna spreadsheet? If so, I can't find a link to it.

Can't wait for a final decision! We'll be flying over in September to wait it out, as German citizens are visa-exempt (hopefully we won't need extensions).

That is great news GuerricH!! We are not too far behind you (approval on June 21st) so hopefully we hear something soon too.

The Vienna spreadsheet is here, http://tinyurl.com/74doxw2 and anyone can add to it, it is "unlocked" so to speak.

ME TOO!!! :D
Congrats Guerich! I got an AOR from CPC-M also on June 14th, and got an AOR from Vienna just now.

anyone still here who applied through berlin BEFORE berlin vo was closed? Did you hear anything from vienna?

Hi everyone, could you please addme to the Vienna Spreedsheet Please!
Thank you so much!

Hi everybody! Pretty new to this!
I sent an application to sponsor my husband June01 and have not heard anything about it yet...didn't even get a notice that Mississauga got the papers. For starters I wish good luck to everyone, and hopefully everyone gets their papers ASAP and their loved ones will be by their side soon. My loved one is in Serbia and I'm in Canada, we are both young and frustrated that we spent more time apart then together...So, I see that some of you are waiting for a long time and some of you (MONTREALSNOW) Lucky you!! not as long. Hopefully we wont be waiting too long. My question is does everyone get an approval notice as a sponsor on the email or did some of you get it by the regular mail?? And we were married in Serbia...another question is, does anyone know if he would be allowed at all to come on a tourist visa until he gets the papers or it's not allowed? Just need opinions, any information you guys have will be greatly appreciated!!

My husband (whos's the sponsor) received an email about sponsor approve, we got no regular mail and no AOR, just this one email about approve. Besides us, everyone seemed to have gotten an AOR and the sponsor approves mostly came by email, but some still got regular mail too. It seems to depend on the offices. Even for AOR's it takes a while to get it and you're from june, they are still on april and may applications and currently seemed to have slowed down :-(
My file got transfered to vienna last week and i haven't received any notice yet either, it sometimes takes another month to hear of them. Its a lot patience needed for this whole process ><.
Your husband can come to visit you during the application but needs prove he will go back home after his visit. If he tries to stay on tourist visa till the application is through, he has to have luck with the border controll giving him a long time on the tourist visa and also has to extend the lenght of the tourist visa between when the application isn't done before the tourist visa expires. If you plan on doing that, get enough information about it, theres lots of threats about that topic here. It's possibles, but be prepared. Im not an expert in this, some other people know more about it, im just trying to hold out the last few months now till all is over, we've been through such long times of not seeing each other, i will be able to do the rest now too :-P and try to spend this time with my family before i can't see them anymore so soon.

Good luck to you and i hope they speed up again for everyone!

Hi Mirjana,

I am the sponsor and I never received AOR from CPC-Ottawa/Mississauga; I only received sponsorship approval via email. My husband is from Serbia and he received AOR email from Vienna. We too wanted to apply for a tourist visa for him to come and visit. However, the chances of him receiving a tourist visa while he's waiting for PPR are extremely slim. You can always try and hope for the best! We opted to wait it out and hoping he'll get his PPR any day now:) Best of luck!

Anyone, any news?? It's super quiet...

It is very quiet.

We haven't even gotten an AOR yet. Even tho, the two people a week ahead of me have had them for 3 weeks now. I have no idea why it is taking so long.

It's frustrating.

*sigh* I hope so. I leave for Canada tomorrow with the kids. Wish we could have left with a bit more good news. But I really don't know how to explain what is going on in these VOs. It makes no sense to me.

Have save travels. Let's hope they are working on our files and 'forgot' to send us an aor.

Thank you. And wouldn't that be nice, no AOR but COPR instead ;)
