Hi guys,

I submitted my PR application in February and received the AOR letter from Vienna office on in May. I haven't heard from Vienna since then :'(. In 2 weeks it will be exactly 3 months that I have been waiting for an update. How come they haven't contacted me yet? Can they still schedule an interview after 3 month period stated in AOR is elapsed???

Thanks a lot for your suggestions!!!

GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!!!

We have the same issue! Husband received AOR from Vienna beginning of June. It says to not contact them for 3 months in regards to the status of our application. If you're a few days away from the 3 months mark, I would suggest emailing them and stating that no one contacted you within 3 months. Also, I would contact your local MP. VO should have ask for additional info or interview or granted you PR by now.

I ordered GCMS notes and contacted my MP to see what the hold up is. If they need something, then ask for it within the 3 months, like stated!
I'm beyond frustrated and angry with this process...

All this doesn't sound very encouraging to me. I'm still waiting for first stage approval but I guess I better prepare myself for another long wait with little information in stage 2. Good luck to everyone!

I am frustrated too! I have been waiting for 6 months and have got only sponsorship approval and AOR so far. Moreover, my Online Client Application Status shows only APPLICATION RECEIVED! It seems like VO has not started to process my application yet. :'( :'( :'( Too bad!

Anyway, hopefully we all get an update soon.

We have the exact same timeline and status. I ordered our second set of GCMS notes a few days ago. First notes showed as of June 25, none of background checks had begun! I'm hoping that the second set of notes shows some sort of progress. I hope you get your PPR before the 3 month mark. That would give me hope that my hubby will get his too in the next month :) Please keep us posted. Where are you originally from?

Hello Bobbi,

I will keep you posted, for sure. I haven't ordered GCMS notes yet, but I will soon. In 11 days the 3-month period will elapse. Gosh, I need to take some important decisions in regard to work and that's why I desperately need an update for VO. I'm originally from Slovakia (I live not far from Vienna actually). Where does your husband come from?

Lets be in touch! Hope you get good news soon :)

HI everyone,
I sent an email to the Vienna office (through cic website), and haven't received an answer yet. I sent it last week. How fast are they with answering emails?

Hi Waikiki,

Depends on what you are asking them. I sent them an email in regards to the medical report; I could not find the answer via CIC website. They responded in about a week. Now that Vienna acquired Berlin's applications, I think they are over loaded and delayed in all aspects....

Hi all...

I'm also going through Vienna, just got my spousal sponsorship approval few days ago... looking forward to Stage 2 :D

I'll be going through entire thread shortly... our case is pretty straight-forward, nothing major as my wife has no criminal record and our marriage is more than genuine. We hope that wait won't be too long since Stage 1 took 90 days to complete. At this point I'm with my wife in Serbia so that helps us a bit :)

Looking forward to be a part of this forum/thread... good luck to everyone dealing with Vienna office... cheers! :D

Alright, I received sponsor approval last week, after not too long a wait. We'll see how it goes from now on. Do most people get an AOR from Vienna?

Montrealsnow: Yes, almost everyone receives AOR from Vienna about 3 weeks after Sponsorship approval.

Monikita: Any news on your end? I'm hoping you get your PPR this week! To answer your question, my husband is from Serbia.

Nole73: Welcome!

Im already over this 3 weeks timeline for getting an AOR of vienna.....(4 weeks it is now since approval). I hope i hear of them very soon!

Hi everyone!
Have you check on embassy web site that is state the following:
¨

So that means that we have to wait a AOR from Missisagua? or add documents to Missisagua aswell? I allready sent a new police certificate to Vienne after get the sponsorship approval in order to avoid any delay, but each day this process is getting complicated!

Best Regards
