They don't give me the option to keep my application on the website, just 'Submit' button and 'Logout' buttons.

If you have your UCI number, you will see more than that.
If Vienna didn't send you an application number you cannot see anything on ecas.
But if you have UCI you will see your status of your application.

Good luck!

Hi everyone!
Have you check on embassy web site that is state the following:
¨

So that means that we have to wait a AOR from Missisagua? or add documents to Missisagua aswell? I allready sent a new police certificate to Vienne after get the sponsorship approval in order to avoid any delay, but each day this process is getting complicated!

Best Regards
I think they're just saying that you can't send your whole application to Vienna directly, but have to send it to Mississauga first. Once you have sponsor approval and your file has been transfered you should send additional documents to Vienna directly.

Hello Bobbi and all,

I have no news from Vienna. In 3 business days it will be exactly 3 months since I received AOR from Vienna. My Client Application Status says this:

We received your application for permanent residence on February 9, 2012.
Medical results have been received.

It seems like they haven't started to process my application yet. So bad :'(.

Monikita, that really sucks. While I was starting to prepare my application at the beginning of 2012 I was pretty hopeful that the whole thing would be comparatively fast -- Berlin had a good reputation for quick processing. Now we're stuck with Vienna which sounds pretty awful at the moment. I was hoping to have PR by the end of the year but now I'm a bit skeptical. Good luck to everyone!

Monikita, I wouldn't pay much attention to e-cas it has a bad reputation of not getting updated regularly. I would suggest emailing Vienna and state as per the AOR email, it has been 3 months and I have not received any news from your visa office. I would send an email requesting a status update on the exact 3 month mark.

As for me, I'm 25 days away from THE 3 month mark. I've ordered my 2nd set of GCMS notes and contacted my MP. I'm patiently awaiting a response, however, once September 4th arrives...I have an email in draft waiting to be sent to Vienna :)

Good luck to everyone!!

Thank you Montrealsnow!
After 21 days to submit the request, we got our CSQ today!
Well, this means one step less but Vienna VO regrettably is not fast as should be!
Good afternoon to everyone and I hope to see soon first visas issued or PPR at least!

Excellent. I just dropped off the CSQ application on Monday. Maybe because we live in Montreal it'll arrive faster :)

You realize that the processing time average for 80% of the spousal applications at Vienna is 9 months? http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm/fc-spouses.asp#europe If your application is within their published processing time, it is unlikely that you will receive a response.

Hello, actually it is true that the processing time average is 9 months. In my AOR letter they say that applications for permanent residence in my immigration category may take 7 months or more to process. What about the stated expected processing time in your AOR letters? Please, share with us...

Good luck to everyone!!!!

Well, if you look at http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/case-processing-speed-at-visa-offices-step-2-q1-2012-t111426.0.html;msg1604512#msg1604512 you will see more detailed data for cases from April 1, 2011 through March 31, 2102 (that's the most recent data.

Vienna - RPC: 20 % of cases completed in 3 months, 30 % in 4 mo., 50 % in 5 mo., 70 % in 7 mo., & 80% in 8 mo.

These numbers are for "Spouses, Partner, Children." If you go to the original data source you can also get the numbers for just "Spouses and Partners." They're pretty much the same.

20%: 3 months, 30% 4 months, 50% 5 months, 70% 7 months, 80% 9 months

The problem with these numbers is that they're an average over the whole year. Events like the closure of the Berlin office and the transfer of all those files to Vienna, for example, won't be reflected in there.

Congrats to your AOR. Not exactly fast, but at least something. 11 months sounds horrible, though...
