You don't need visitor visa in your passport but officer at the airport will tell you how long you can stay in Canada. I think that time limit for visiting is 6 months for all visa exempt countries.
That's why I mentioned term "visa" and "overstaying" in one of my earlier posts. Just be careful and don't overstay that date

I also don`t think that there would be a problem with you going there and get married , you don`t have to say that as your purpose for visit, as long as you come back home when your visa is up. I read somewhere here that you can also ask for an extension for another 6 months while you are applying from vienna office. Just keep it legal.

Wrong later in your application? I doubt that.
You have couple of years long relationship. He is in Canada and you decided to get married there while you were visiting. There's nothing wrong with that.
In your application you will have to prove your relationship. Getting married in Canada or Slovenia it doesn't matter as log as your relationship is genuine in the eyes of your visa officer.

Well...they are just doing their job...but it wouldn't do any harm if they speed it up...it takes forever...

I'm ok all in all, trying to keep myself busy as much as I can. This process will end someday and our lives won't be on hold anymore

You are right, I have same feeling that I put my life on hold. :-[ I was wondering how do you ppl kill your time. I`m afraid that I might became net addictive.

Frida, my husband came here on a visitor visa last year. He had a difficult time getting it because it was hard to prove he wouldn't leave afterwards. ( he was refused the first time) So, when he finally did get one, he just told the officer that he was going to visit his girlfriend. But he never told her that he was going to get married. Although, when she asked him how he was sure he would return to his home country, he said, "I will marry her someday, and I don't want to ruin anything for immigration in the future. So I will return. " It was true and she believed him.

Anyway, wherever you get married make sure you take lots of pictures and document everything. Keep every receipt. And take lots of pictures of you and him with your friends and family, in different situations, not just your wedding. Start accumulating all that stuff now, it will save a lot of time.
