I've read about this. Sometimes they send there I suppose if too busy in Vienna.

Hey guys, when you got the approval of your sponsor, did it say in that letter that the application was forwarded to Vienna?

Because I am german, we are applying outland and the letter said the application was forwarded to Ottawa!!!

Exact same thing happened to us (my partner is German and that's where we live) with Vienna and Ottawa. Apparently this is happening these days. I emailed CIC and they confirmed that it went to Ottawa. Apparently we should be thankful because it's a faster office? :

For all of those submitting additional police certificates make sure they are not asking for the court certificate. We made the mistake and misread that they wanted a court certificate for a second police clearance and sent the wrong document twice. Fortunately we realized our mistake and sent in the correct certificate. We were lucky to have a really nice agent taking care of our case and would answer our emails and questions such as "have the documents arrived, we have not received confirmation etc.. also the day we sent the court certificate a agent called my husband in Bosnia and talked to make sure we sent the correct one this time I wish everyone fast process!! we were lucky only 5 and a half months start to finish.

It depends where in bosnia if you are in republika srbska only police certific or it will tell you what they need like police certific or court certifice to dubmit original or if they dont ask for it then you can email as pdf file cant be more tnen 5 MB

How long did it take after you submitted the certificates?
We sent ours in February and still waiting for response. We sent an e-mail asking if they received it and they just said that they will notify us i due time.

We sent them January 22, and we received PR January 29. He arrived in Canada February 22

I went on the embassy's webpage: "Visa and Immigration section is no longer open for submission of applications, documents or passports, or any enquiries"

Ottawa is much faster!. And as I read same information on embassy website last week, I got my application sent to Vienna and it's in process...
So I am not sure what kind of applications are affected by the notice from Vienna embassy.

Oh that's interesting! I am not certain about anything.. are any of us? People just keep saying it's faster.. but I'm suppose at some point, if they are getting all these extra applications, it will stop being faster. Not much we can do though!

So my husband has his interview May 4th, and feeling confident and ready for this! We did not have enough time to order notes but not worried. As I read through the forum I see that getting PR is moving rather quickly and not very many interviews. Seems to me that all interviews are from the European countries, especially Viennna We hope to hear good news the same day or perhaps shortly after. Good luck to those still waiting.

I would send it there anyways. They probably gone forward the application.
