Hi all,
I wonder how are you checking your application on ECAS, using what number?
I am the sponsor, and keep checking via my ClientID number 35......, and my last name etc .
There I see all my own history + my spouses application.

Recently I heard there is a separate file number for sponsored person, should I be using it instead, and would it show different info?
Also where do I get that # from?

if you are sponsor you should use UCI number to check the status here are the link how can you check it https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/security.do?app=ecas.

If you are the sponsor you have the UCI # thats what you would us for your part...and spplication number starting F00... Is the sponsord person. I guess the UCI #does not work after you have been aproved, or it didnt work for us. So now the only way i can check whats going on is by entring application # and my husbands info (main aplicant)
For us at the begining of the process we could use either, but since september we can only use my husbands info with the application #.

Oh, the application number they would send you from Vienna once they have rec. ur application.

maybe you had a problem with service on Ecas but all is working even if you got a PR, I got my PR last week i can check my ecas with application number which is start with F or UCI they one who is in my wife name cox she is sponsor and still is working check it again it should work

I have tried since September to go in with my UCI and my info....and it would say that i entered something wrong, or the application is not in process... But when we enter F000 and my husbands info it gives us the info.

P.s. After reading posts here yesterday that a few ppl got response from vienna, i dreamt we go a response too... And woke up to disappointment.... Grrrrrr
This waiting is really hard :'(

Muby, a question, did you confirm your attendance to the interview by email? In the letter Vienna says to confirm it by mail or fax, I'm guessing they are thinking email as well?

I think you should look carefully once again for the information small mistake can change the whole process then system will said nothing found, means check the number of UCI, last name, date of birth, and place of birth also. Sorry for you dream with time will come true

Nothing has changed, i though i was just doing it too fast and misspelled something but no, everything is correct, and UCI has not changed either, but it wont let me get in.

I am advising you as your case little different to contact Vienna as soon as possible to give your husband UCI Cox u need to had it to check his status you should make it shouter and explain to them your situation. I hope they will look at it as urgent.

So I sent an e mail to Vienna YESTERDAY requesting confirmation of AOR and to send my husband’s UCI number (he is the applicant) and we got an e mail back TODAY saying that they did get the application in May - did not specify the date, and the regular copy paste message about processing times taking 13 or even more months depending on your application and that they will contact us if they require anything further.. It’s good that they answered so fast but the e mail had no specific answer to UCI number (I’m guessing that it’s because they haven’t touched my husband’s file yet)... so at least they are answering e mails... ???

While reading your posts with all these great news I checked my spam folder just in case (I read my emails asap on my phone but not spam).

IT TURNS OUT I HAD AN E MAIL FROM VIENNA!!!! Got it today, an interview invitation for 05 March! I am so confused and excited right now bcs I do not understand why they want me there bcs they are not asking me to bring additional proof of relationship, recent communication etc, just a new police certificate! If I remember everyone who had interview lately was asked to bring this, right Muby, alvin? Not even a new medical and mine is expiring these days, I don't get it!!! Tell me what you think guys, I'm kind of lost!

Yes its sounds good at least they reply even is not so good news but sooner u will get real answer as this week showing the working hard to applicant so lets hope u get your answer and others soon.
