Dear all, Happy new year and hoping for all of us an end to the wait during the next few days.

I sent this today to Vienna on behalf of my wife. The truth is Irsa's message (question ) few days ago about her husband's medical expiring, has triggered an alert in me also.

Let's see what they answer to me. If you notice in my message I make a special note on the processing times!

A year will be completed on January 31st 2014 since I took my last medical (01-31-2013)
Would I need to complete a new medical for my case? The reason I am asking is that I do not wish for my case to be further delayed as your VO has already raised the processing times from 9 months last year to 13 months presently.

Since we have not received an AOR from Vienna we requested GCMS notes for our application today. We want to be sure it arrived in Vienna and that my email address on file is correct.

I just got my GCMS notes... And I'm not happy about it.
I filed my application on March 25, 2013 and my husband was approved as a sponsor on April 17.

Eligibility: not started
Security: not started
Criminality: in progress
Medical: passed


The truth is that I don't find the notes helpful at all.
Only new information that I have is that RCMP is doing the security check. And there is no update on that since April 29 (it says RCMP screening - no reportable trace)
Now, my police certificate from Croatia is almost expired (January 29, 2014), do I have to send a new one?
Also, what is the difference between security and criminality? Who performs the security check?

I'm very disappointed because there is no update for my case since April 23, just that RCMP screening. I don't understand that.
Also, RCMP initiated the security check on April 23, so more than 8 months ago. I can not understand why this is taking so long. My husband thinks it is because I went to Tunisia as a visitor for 7 days, but if that is the case, what about people who've traveled all over the world?!

And one more thing. In the notes it says: "Received FCP sponsorship application. No biodata found on the back of at least one passport size photograph. Therefore, no CSC date entered. " Does anyone know what that means? Can that affect anything? I took those pictures in Croatia and there they don't put date and place at the back of the photos. Should I take pictures again in Canada with the date at the back and send them?

I got no news either from Vienna, but it actually makes me calm.... I am not even thinking about moving to Canada and giving up on everything here, leaving my homeland, family and friends for someone who is behaving unreal. He took his jealousy way way too far, so now I know nothing about the next steps yet, except that I am scared like hell and not going anywhere.
So that's why I am staying away from the forum, I can't share your excitement any longer, but still happy if I hear good news on your processes my friends.

New year brought one new mssg for me ... my TRV was rejected on the ground :- Family ties in Canada and Resident country, Immigration Status (I dont know which one canada or Germany).... my Travel History.. i dont know which travel history they are talking about..

JJ my notes are they same except they havent started the crimilality part. Our timelines are similar and i dont think going to tunis has anything to do with it. My wife and I went to Turkey over the summer for a week. I agree the notes didnt help much. We didnt put anything on the back of the passport photos and they didnt mention anything about it in the notes. I dont know what to do next, contact my MP or write a letter to Vienna. I dont know what to do or think anymore especially if we encounter snags and have more delays.

Yes they did reply and the reply I got back from them made me angry and confused

This refers to your below inquiry.
The original File F0001XXXXhas been cancelled due to the fact of change of immigration Category from FCC common-law to FC1 category married spouse;
The new FC1 file number is F000XXXXXX; ( This new file was electronically transferred form the Case Processing Centre Mississauga to our office in Vienna in November 2013.

The part where it says our file was transferred to Vienna November 2013 this is what made me angry and confused. Because when back in August I inquired as to when our file was transferred they replied:

Dear Ms. XXXXXXX XXXXX

Your spouse`s application was transferred to our offive in Vienna in April 2013.


So if you can make any sense out of this I would appreciate it if you can tell me too

Irony is a Greek word " Ειρωνία" and I can use it nicely hahahahaha Had enough of their silence and I as well as anyone here feel frustrated when other VO's are constantly keeping their clients informed and updated and Vienna is doing non of that!
