Hi how are u doing and how is your vacation!!!

You are right process are always change everyday its begin to be hard for everybody its going to be 8month since when i was sent my application and no news yet all we are doing now is to be PETIENT I am happy that Vienna office was not on strike and i hope they wont be too, its just slaw process and it will end soon for all of us i hope so

My vacations was great i really had a great time in Jamaica i love that place i been there before but is different when you are with your love of the life and when you are with your work

Evetry yeaqr the process is really getting harder nd harder, before to sposnor your parents weas 8 months maximum and now is more than 6 years from that you see is harder, to sponsor your spouse last couples years was no more than 5 months and now we have to wait forever, i know how you gusy feeling, and i know it is really a STRESSFUL PROCESS, your time will come is really a hard waiting process.but nobody in VO has connection everybody has to wait , and the summer is really slow period for everybody

If it's AOR from Mississauga then you should have received it... if it's Vienna then you don't have to worry about it non of us did.

i would recomend if you didnt received any news from Mississauga to contact CIC directly at 1800 tool free number , and asked what is goign own with your paper, if you got the respond from them i will recomend to wait until Vienna is sending something , check your junk folders

i hope for all of you guys who are waiting for the process to be over to have some good news, i know honestly how you guys feeling i know with all my heart is really and harder waqiting time in your life . and you are lossing all the patients.

Just came across this article dated today..... still doesn't mention Vienna but if I read correctly they will be routing applications to offices still in operation. That should speed things up quit nicely hahahahaha.

I am one of the early 2013 applicants, we applied in January, got the sponsorship approval in early February and the file was transferred to Vienna. Since then, we haven't heard anything. My consultant has sent Vienna two emails, basic emails just requesting an update on the status and we have heard nothing. It's very discouraging and I myself am just wondering what the hell is going on with Vienna. Last year they sent out second stage AOR's all the time and now they leave people in the dark? I think it's ridiculous. It doesn't hurt to send someone an email just to let them know their app is there and they are in fact processing it. But that is my personal opinion. This process has become my personal hell. It puts a toll on everyone involved and affects your life in a big way. It basically puts our life on hold.

You have spoken through me. Really! Back in February I was checking out the spreadsheet for 2012 and I was happy to see that almost everyone in that year had had an AOR and even some of the members got their COPR's quite fast.
I too had sent Vienna two notifications through the Case Specific Inquiry page (one for my spouse's new passport and one for RPRF payment) and the only thing I got back from them was the usual automatic reply.

I guess there must be something totally wrong with Vienna this year. Otherwise how can one explain this conduct!

10 years back my friends went thru a lawyer and he knew someone in Vienna, the lawyer made a phone call and their applications got put on top of the pile. from the time they applied to the day he landed it was 5.5 months. so how much truth their is in that I don't know. Just saying

Unfortunately these are the attitudes that destroyed the good name of Canada and its public services.
Maybe today we are paying the prize for the action of these actions. What I mean is, that public servant corruption is eventually discovered and then harsh measures fall upon the sector thus resulting in greater searches, procedures etc.

Anyways. What ever we can say about Vienna now is like (we have a saying here in Greece) "consolation to the sick" hehehe

Let us pray that they will start sending some COPR's first to our longer waiting friends like sponsor and others and then all the rest of us!

Welcome to Vienna thread. Please if you wish enter your timeline info in March and Vienna spreadsheets so you can share it with others.

If you haven't received anything from Mississauga then this is serious and you must contact them asap.

When you say AOR do you mean the one from Mississauga or Vienna? You are also saying that you have send your apps to Vienna? ( i send my application for permanent resident i famly cat.....on march 28 2013..to vienna office )

But if you are asking for Vienna then I shall let you know that with the exemption of about 3 people no one else has received one either from 2013 applicants. If you can read the messages in the thread you will verify this.

Last week my wife sent the mail to vienna about my application condition and they reply yestrday saying the reason of being slow is huge amount of people who demand job to be done as soon as possible and also the repeat it processing time for vienna its about 10month without additional documents or Interview, and they said she has to wait for the next step, we hope it will be soon so everybody stop worrying the still working i am glad they are not shut down like others lets all of us to be praying to hear some good news in the middle of August

my MP helped me a lot for our process, but i know when i contacted MP they told me that if is before 10 months of your process we cvan not help you a lot , but if is more than 10 months waiting period we can contact embassy and see what is goign own woth your file, but i really appreciate their help they were the best ...
hope some of you guys are going to have some good news even before August 15 ,. i know how you guys are feeling

Thanks so much for this information. Did you email your MP or did you call? It is good to know that they were willing to inquire for you. Well we are definitely 10 months since they received our info in Vienna. And, they requested a copy of his military booklet in Nov. which we sent back to them with translation... SUPER FAST. Like a week later. All the best
