Zdravo Milance!
Yup, you're absolutely right about the lawyer/connections aspect, especially for the GTA area.
Oh dear, that poor lady, how come they couldn't give her even a partial refund??? Especially on such grounds! =(
It's not about putting anyone's applications ahead, what i meant to say is that certain cases probably get processed quicker from what i noticed on these forums, aka the VO sees that there's not much to look into and believes a case to be genuine, i think... i hope i expressed that thought right lol.
I know of no other Croatian cases since i spent most of my time with Serbians, so i know how difficult it can be for Serbia sometimes. I knew a lady back when i was canvassing for my old boss who couldn't bring her kids over from Beograd for years. I hope she managed to do so by now.
I've had some bad luck with VO's within Canada. Hope the ones in Vienna are nice
I will be sending/filing my app in August, sometime within the first half of the month. Once i do, i'll update my info on the left hand status bar and keep you all posted. How is your case going so far??
I do have a question, if you or anyone on here can help: The doctor who does the medicals in Cro said that i don't need an IME number to do an early medical, BUT that he will then have to send it via DHL (what? who uses DHL anymore???) to CIC or whatnot, wherever the medical goes, and that cost's about $100... now... i think that's a load of bull, and that the doctor can send that medical document via certified secure mail from the post office (like i've sent all my docs back to Canada). Has anyone's doctor said the same? That they need to use some idiotic courier service, or can i simply tell him to calm down and send it the way IIIII want it sent, which saves me $80 bucks?
