@ random 123, i don't think you have anything to worry about as long as you can prove that the business existed in a different name at the time of your application. I highly doubt that an immigration official will try and google your employer's business. They only process the application based on the information provided. If the officer has any doubt about your application they don't even call to try and clarify any details they refuse it asap unless offcourse your very lucky and in that case you should go buy a lottery ticket

Yeah, i think so too, given the speed at which they must process applications, the burden of proof is on us, and most dont investigate further. Nothing i can do now, but stop worrying and start living (and make less frequent visits to the forum, its driving me crazy lol) have you reapplied? All the best to you!

Am still gathering some documents here and there, since they denied my application they never sent anything back. It's important to visit this site, you get more information so that whatever the outcome you have a clear path of your next move. The lawyers don't help much other than give opinions at which they could be wrong at.
 
Thank you all for your support and help, now im about to reapply CEC, my work permit will expire on june 8th, can i still stay in Canada waiting for the PR, or do i have to go back home waiting, thank you
