@ tam_ngo.......Thanx a lot dear. Its my pleasure if i can relieve off some work from sarayu's shoulders :D. Dont worry you are the next in line for the medical request and as you are in Canada applicant, be ready and hope for a quicker processing from CPP-O.

@ sarayu.....Thanx you too buddy. Hope you visit India as a Canadian permanent resident at the end of the year. :D

Dear Kavy:
I am sure, I will remember your words...let's see how my luck is. I wish and pray God to become your words realistic...Honestly, I really have exactly same opinion to visit India next time with my Canada PR.

Thank you sooooo much.
Sarayu.

In a breaking news. The Canadian VO in venezuela closed its doors 3 days ago, and my application should be on the way there... everything should be transferred to mexico.. However, its been 9 days since I received my AOR and still no MR and i really have no idea where is my application now or if its already on its way to Mexico city? Anyone have some info about this?

Thanks

Hi,

They are shutting Visa Offices in many places. Along with Venezuela, Seattle and Detroit are also shut. There is nothing much you can do except wait. Here is what they have to say, I found it on their website:

All permanent resident applications currently in process at the offices in Detroit, Seattle or Caracas will be transferred to the office now responsible, where processing will resume. Applications previously submitted to the visa office in Caracas will now be processed in Mexico City and those submitted to Seattle or Detroit will be processed by Los Angeles and New York. Applicants are not required to contact the offices to ensure their application is redirected.

Thanks

Done with Medicals today! MD said that they would contact me by the end of next week if they need to conduct further tests and that would only happen if anything is wrong in these test results.

I am just not sure how long would it take to get PR from this point and that makes me wonder if I should also apply for CEC.

Hi Sada Min:

Good to see that you are done with your medicals. Updated track sheet. We can predict something if July batch starts getting PPRs. Good luck and keep waiting for the good news... :)

Thanks,
Sarayu.

Hi joey carpio, We (November group) just started receiving Medical Requests. It's still really a long long time to get PPRs. I hope you should get yours in a couple months max. Good luck buddy.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

Hello Sada Min......actually there is no definite timeframe. The common average time taken by CIC (as what they mention on their website) is 10-12 months depending on your visa office. But there are instances like

Rest is your luck ! and regarding your second query, I am not dure about this but i dont think if you can file two PR applications simultaneously. You have to withdraw one to file other. Bt it wd be better if you consult someone specialist in this. Thanx

Another interesting thing which i have noticed is that CIO has really slowed down after November. As you can see from the spreadsheets link below, its quite clear that our November batch has so far been the quickest to receive AOR and MR. Hope our good luck continues.

Are you in contact with any of the guyz who filed at that time and has any of your acquaintance got PPR ?

Thank you Kavy! I hope CIC has not completely shifted there attention to other streams. Minister Kenney seems to be paying more attention to CEC and FSW as now a days the news only floats around these two streams.
