Tracking PNP November 2012 applications to CIO Nova Scotia

CIO has just informed me that my file is no longer in CIO, it was transferred to VO in Singapore.

So, we can conclude that, not all applicants from Canada will be proceeded at CPP-O.

So unlucky ??? ???

actually I would prefer if they would process my application outside canada. might go faster.

may I ask what kind of PNP are you doing? family stream (with additional applicants in your application?) or employer sponsoring? what is your status right now in canada? are you on a work visa?

just want to know, that I can compare what might be the reason why they transferred it to Singapore.


I guess they process inland applicants to outside visa offices, if additional family resides outside canada at the moment

No problem, here is my case

I graduated as an international student in Calgary, Alberta. Now I'm working under a Post-Education work permit (3 Years)

Then, I was nominated by Alberta under Engineering Occupations Category (with sponsorship from company that I'm working for)

By mistake, I put VO in Singapore (which is responsible for my country) to process my file. At that time I had no idea CPP-O is

processing files transferred from Buffalo, cuz I didn't see CPP-O on VO list until they changed their website interface recently.

Singapore's processing time now is super long, 20 months. That's why I have been wishing to be processed in Canada.

I've put Vienna as VO into my application and I am pretty sure that they will forward it to Ottawa since I already got the MR.

Maybe it has something to do with the backlog, that they process some in Ottawa and some outside Canada?

Maybe, Does it show "Vienna" on your Nomination Paper as well?

no. It just said that I need to send my pr application to the cio in sydney.

I used to work in canada for two years. after my work visa expired I flew back to europe and I applied outside canada for the nomination.
once I got it, I flew back to canada and got a working visa at the airport since bc pnp gave me a Work Permit Extension Support Letter.

I'm in Canada yes, They requested an updated background declaration, police certificates (I submitted my application without them because of time restraints) they requested proof of financial security and an updated signature. I guess my signature on my passport doesn't reflect my current signature, the beauty of 10 years passports.

No MR yet, I sent the requested documents last week and am {im}patiently waiting for a response.

How do I enter my info on the form? Sorry I'm not familiar with google docs. Can I edit it online?

I just figured because you received AOR in November. And in this group here all the folks sent their application in November.

Of course we are trying to help you out, but maybe you can have a better time overview in the specific group
