Tracking PNP November 2012 applications to CIO Nova Scotia

Hi All,

I got ma AOR by mail. I have not provided an email so I guess I am running late (relatively). I there any one else who is not using an email ID?

Also, a quick question, how long may it, approximately, take to receive my PR after receiving medical request under PNP category (FYI I am in Canada).

Hi,

CIC says applicants who applied to Seattle and Detroit, will now have their applications processed at NewYork and LosAngeles. Also FSW Backlog applicants, are getting refunds for their applications, I am one of them, only those who got nominated my a province, they said 600 people would be selected from each province (that was stated in their offer letter), would be processed Inland i.e by CPP-Ottawa or the VO responsible for their citizenship i.e country of birth. My application is being processed inland. They say they would fast track all 'FSW Pilot programs'. Also they are issuing OWP for certain 'PNP applicants' now. The bottom line is they are bringing in so many changes, I guess thats why the times have increased. Do not be disheartened by the wait times, there are a lot of applicants who have waited for almost 6 years now (FSW applicants), patience is the key and pray that all our files get picked up soon.
Last but now the least, this is the mail I received from CPP-O, it has some timelines, I do not know if its a generic email everyone gets but its something at least:

Your file has been transferred to this office in Ottawa for processing. It will be reviewed by one of our officers, with priority given to applications that were received at CIC before 1 September 2011.

How long will it take until I am likely to be contacted and/or updated by the Case Processing Office in Ottawa?

Can you please share the CIC link where it shows that the processing time starts from the time when CIO receives our application?

I was actually in an impression that the time starts from the date of AOR.

How are processing times calculated?

Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) calculates processing times from the day CIC receives an application to the day it makes a decision on the application.

When estimating how long you will wait to receive a temporary visa, you must also take into account up to 10 days of transit or delivery time on top of CIC’s processing time. The time your application will spend travelling to and from CIC will vary depending on where you live.

Hi Indiapnp,

Congrats on your AOR. So, what's the date it's written on your AOR? So that I will update the tracking sheet.

Just curious to know, why did you not provided CIO with your email address? Any specific reason? will be more faster if you provide them with your email.

We can't predict the time it takes for our applications to get processed but as per the CIC web site, it takes 13 months to process applications at CPP-Ottawa...I hope your's is CPP-Ottawa.

I am unable to track my application online, the weird thing is that I was able to do so since 10 days ago, but today I just cant... when I enter the information, it says that it cant be found or doesnt not exist , or my information was wrong... (????) Im using the same data as always... this could be a server error or something worst? (Hope not).

Just a question guys, since i'm the first person of the December PNP batch that has received Medical Examinations request. I live in Calgary, and going on the website of Dr. Grunberg (Designated medical practitioner for Immigration), it seems that X-Rays and blood and urine test have to be done in some other laboratory. Shouldn't everything be done in the same place?

Hi philfresh,

You mean they will collect the blood and Urine samples and send them to some other laboratory for the analysis? If yes, you don't have to worry about it. They will take care of everything internally and send the finally reports to Immigration Health Services. It takes about one week for them to finish analysis. Once they send the reports to IHS, they will provide you the tracking number of your package.
