an update on my case....

since i was feeling that it is taking them too long i started emailing/calling visa offices and i found out that my case is being processed in Ottawa (not Vienna as i originally suspected) and that there is also nothing missing on my application but it will take them approx. 2 more month to take a final look into it....that means it will take about 12 months total....

why did people who applied after me already have their PR....it's beyond me....

i just wanted to give an update and maybe help others who are waiting like me....

I applied for Canadian PR in 2005. In 2012, I was asked to re-apply under Ontario-PNP backlog program. Today I have got a mail from Colombo Visa Office that my application has been transferred to High Commission of Canada in Colombo from New Delhi VO. It is also mentioned that it is done to provide me shortest possible processing time.

Now my question is that :
Is there something to worry ?

My details are as follows :
Category........: PNP - Ontario (Backlog)
Visa Office......: New Delhi, India
NOC Code......: 2171
App. Filed.......: 27th June 2012
Nomination.....: 31st October 2012
AOR Received (CIC): 17 January 2013
AOR - Visa Office : 28th June 2013
Med's Request for Temporary Work Permit: 12th Feb 2013 (a temporary work permit letter was issued few days after nomination)
Med's Done....: 18 Feb 2013
Temporary Work Permit Issued : 8th March 2013
Landed : Already in Canada on temporary work permit

Finally I received my Passport Request on Dec 4th, 8:00 PM
After 6 month being "In-Process" status
I had not tried to contact CIC during this frustrating time at all, no Call, no Email
Just Wait.
My ecas status turn into "Decision Made" on Dec 8th

I sent it to PO Box Address with Express Canada, I hope that would be OK, I thought even Post Canada Xpress should go to PO Box Address not Courier one.
Post Canada says its delivered on Dec 9th, but they have not updated my delivery signature request on their website yet.

can the embassy see that im a dependant of my wife on her application for AINP? cause we already submitted our papers to CIO we have been approved on our AINP application last november and submitted our application for PR last feb 12 to CIO

right now i have a pending Temporary working permit application on canadian embassy manila philippines last october 24 2013

will they see that we have been approved on our AINP application and the we already applied for PR on CIO?

or they wont see it?

if they see it would it be additional points for my TWP or not?

this question keeps on bothering me for almost 2 months and no one can answer it i mean no one ever have the same situation as mine

im just curious hope you can answer my question

I will advise that you send them a polite email asking about your application, attach a copy of the Alberta nomination certificate to the email and ask them if they need other info as per you application. Conclude by thanking them in advance for their fair consideration and hard work and that you really appreciate a quick processing of your application so that you may be united to your wife as quick as possible.

if my wife is the principal applicant and she is already approved since im a dependent on her applicant. am i now a provincial nominee as well?

Provided you were included in the application, your name will be on the certificate.
