Been pretty slow for us, we recently paid the RPRF last week. No update on e-cas and AOR on Nov 15. We are hoping to to have PPR very soon. The waiting is a killer.

I don't know what to do, I have a lawyer taking care of my case, but nothing happens... it's too slow !!

My process began on september 20th. On october 15th we got sponsorship approval, and a few days later we received a letter saying it was approved, and giving us a client ID #. A few days later, we could have access to E-cas. On E-cas, it says:

Sponsorship Application Status - Decision made
Permanent Residence Application Status - Not Available

and since then (october 15th), we haven't heard anything. It's been almost 2 months, and we don't even know if our file actually reached the visa office.

It is very frustrating to NOT have any news in 2 months... I know it's a slow and long process, but it is very frustating NOT KNOWING what's going on...

what is Sao Paulo's average processing time? I agree this Waiting is horrible, however if it gets us back with your loved ones for the rest of our lives, its i sacrifice i'm willing to live with.

In the website it says 80% of the cases are solved within 10 months. But the problem is that the SAO PAULO part hasn't even started yet, and it's been almost 2 months of sponsorship approval...

I'm sorry, but I don't agree with the sacrifice part... it surely is a sacrifice, but I don't see it as necessary, I think the process could be a little faster, and we could have more updating about the situation....
so far i know NOTHING of my process, except that the missisauga part is finished and approved...

me too it's been 1 month when i sent our passports and no news yet status still in process...maybe embassy people are busy for the holidays..lol...all i want for christmas is DM status and visa to be issued...let's just wait and see, in the meantime let's keep ourselves busy ;D

I had a letter from Immigration Canada informing me to sumbit my PR fees in order to conclude the application...m I in final stage of this porcessing??? Is it good news?

We got that letter yesterday! asking to pay the RPRF, I paid it a week ago, and sent the receipts to Mississauga, and Buffalo. Still no update. I guess I should of paid the fees with the whole package - couldn't afford it at the time.

we also paid it online on november 24 and sent it to singapore and missisauga . Missisuga got that receipt on december 3rd , and at the same day they they issued that letter. i guess they didnt opened that mail to see what things are inside.

Anyways we sould be thankful that there is no interview required and our application is almost done ..

Hey London peeps, how did you get a process notification? Would this be updated on ECAS? And is it true that London doesn't tell us our AOR status? Will it just skip to PPR?

The London office does not mail out official AORs but on ECAS the 'Permanent Residence Application Status' will change to 'In Process' and when you click the link it will tell you the date on which they started processing your application. Mine also says Medical Results have been received, but I don't think it always updates with this information!!

I have not heard anything since the sponsorship approval!! Does anybody applying through Mexico city has heard something?
