Yes, CONGRATULATIONS BEANTOWN. ;D ;D ;D

My husband got his PPR the same day as you. His passport is in Buffalo now. He plans to land early October. Getting excited as well.

It's over. Give your husband a big Welcome to Canada!!!!!!

Yeah who does that?!?! UGH. People disturb me.

Anyways, Congratulations!! I'm hoping I'm really soon toooo! I'm dying for a PPR! It's been only one month since I've been in process (Since Aug 02). BLAH! Hopefully soon!! I'm chewing my arm off! :P

Here is the spreadsheet to view everyone's time line for Buffalo... Please let me know of any changes ill update it for us if that's ok with everyone :) I think its easier to click the link than pasting the table in the forum it can get really confusing.

Hi SaugaBoss! This is most excellent -- thanks so much for doing it! Feel free to add me to the list when you get a chance.

sigh wish i could have any sign of life from buffalo can't wait for the PPR

the only good thing my wife is coming for the long weekend :D now if only she had her visa :P

Still no AOR for us :(....but "In-process" on e-cas when I looked on August 31st, it said that application is in process since Aug 27th :(...oh well, hopefully today....

Taking it back. Husband called to let me know he rec'd the AOR on the mail today! Wohoooooo! uhhmm....what's next again?

PPR!! Good luck! I'm still waiting for mine!

Oh, right! More waiting....I hope yours is on the way! Like I said before, it's funny how we wait for weeks and weeks and then we become excited for a few hours only to realize there's more waiting to do! But glad we got it before the long weekend! Happy Labour Day, everyone!

So I haven't gotten an AOR, but they sent me a letter today (which went to my parent's place, so obviously they disregarded my address change) saying my file was transferred to New York City to 'expedite'.

I hope this isn't terrible news... so will I get an AOR from NYC then?

It only means that they're very busy in Buffalo and they're trying to spread out the workload. I have not idea if you'll get an AOR -- I'm not even sure that Buffalo always sends them after what I've read.

I wouldn't even care that much except that now I have to mail my passport to NYC and I don't have those bar code stickers... but I suppose I could just write my file number on there.. right?

I've heard a lot of horror stories about NYC... I hope that it's not going to be so bad. According to their website their processing times are about the same as Buffalo (6 months 'normal' processing time, they don't give a range), so we'll see.

I may try to contact NYC in a couple of weeks to find out more.

Did you get a passport request? I wonder why yours went to Ny but not ours. Not that I'm complaining. Just wondering what makes the difference

No, just thinking ahead.

I WISH mine was in Buffalo.. now I will have to mail my passport and wait up to an extra month to land after I'm approved! :( I've also heard lots of bad things about lost FBI files, etc. :(

I'm just praying for the best... that's really all I can do.

YOU WILLL BE FINE :) dont worry they just tryn to speed up things

they will finish processin your application sooon i hope , you never know when ( may be it s good sign , buffaloooo goin more slowly eberyday !!! so good luck

Thanks amine :) I've just seen NYC do some stupid things... but I guess every visa office does sometimes. I'm gonna think positive :)
