I know I already got my AOR letter last Friday but today I fianally can see myself "in Process" on E-cas. They did not ask for any additional documents (such as the FBI certificate) I assume they have not looked into my application deeply yet.

Our letter with request for FBI docs came separately about a week or so later.

I'm floored, I logged in because dh and I were talking about it, expecting fully to see nothing.

"We started processing xxxxs application on September 2, 2010. ". I'm floored.
I just emailed them asking about the FBI Certificate -mainly so they can contact me with that email in the future.

WOOOOOOHOOOO!! Congrats! :D

Yeah I wasn't expecting to hear anything till late October.
And, what might even be better is we are waiting to hear today if the 2nd counter on our house being sold is accepted. SO timing could work out perfectlY! If we still go, we are having a few second thoughts. :(

wow that was fast :O

my application started processing July 30th and still no additional letter beside the AOR

Can someone please help me with the information to be provided when sending an e-mail to BUF office to request a mailing address change.

Would I mention that residential address will remain the same and only changing mailing address needs to be changed. And would I have to give them a reason why?

Thanks in advanced.

I don't know about via e-mail but wasn't there a change of address form with the AOR? I got a form with mine.

(edit - link doesn't seem to work...but just search "change of address" within this thread and there are tons of hits)
Also please let us know if you get a physical form. I'm in the same boat. Need to change the mailing addy but so far we don't have the AOR in the mail. Will we get one do you think or will our AOR be exclusively by way of email?

Thnx

Thanks for that info. I did not get an e-mailed AOR. My e-cas was updated to reflect that our applicaiton was "In process". We got a formal AOR via snail mail, one week later.

You can mail or fax the form to them. Make sure to include all the information needed like your file number.
