Hi! Mine was received by CIO last November 1. 2010, My payment has been encashed last nove 9, 2010. You guys know any update on how fast the CIO is working post june 26 2010 applications? I have an arranged employment

I sent my application on Oct. 27th and it was received today, Nov. 1st.

So good news - CIC has finally updated their website to say they are viewing applications received as of November 2nd!

No big plans for Christmas/New Years Pharoh - what about you? Maybe I'll steal a few ideas from you ;D

Yes finally CIC is now processing applications for our month.
I'm along from receiving a new letter soon but I'm happy that people who sent their application early november can expect to have good news.

Nothing yet for us. Still can't sign in to eCAS but I keep trying.

Nothing special planned for Christmas holidays. The weather in the UK is atrocious at the moment and they aren't the greatest at dealing with snow. So travelling conditions are bad. Best to stay home I think.

Hope the November group gets some more news soon!

Id like to join this thread. I dont know where i would be without this forum! Although it was a stressful time trying to gain information to put into the application, i find the waiting to be the most torturous!!!!

I see you sent your app in a day before me so we shouldn't have to wait much longer for the sponsorship approval...I hope. Yeah, I am getting rather impatient now. I was better at the beginning but now that it could happen at any time I am getting jittery. Guess we just have to keep busy doing something else...ie...stay well away from my computer!! :

AAAAGGGHHHH....Congratulations Shorttalk!!! Glad you got your approval. Yeah, our postman comes late in the afternoon too so I will be waiting for him tomorrow!! Can you sign into eCAS? I still can't.

yes i can log into ecas now using the client ID, but this morning i couldnt and I was using the receipt number. From what alot of people have said, Ecas isnt the most reliable tool, sadly its all we have. Although this forum is absolutely brilliant for giving us an indication of where the application might be in the process. I have my fingers and toes crossed for you!

Sounds like some good news is coming for the November board! Congratulations!

I sent my application on the 25th of November and it was recieved yesterday, December 1st. I don't see a December board yet so I think I'll hang around here a bit longer.

Oh Shorttalk, you are in the UK too....I wondered if the bad weather would slow down the post....so still more hope for tomorrow. Are you the sponsor...or is sponsor in the UK or Canada? I agree this forum is brilliant. I have found really good advice on here and hope when reading other people's posts. I have been watching the October group too, watching their progress.

No ive escaped the crazy non salted snow of the UK, im in Canada in ontario on a 6 month visitor visa right now....I am a UK Citizen im the applicant and my Hubby is a canadian.
