Hi Rathika, We're both on the November thread and both of applications were received on the same day (nov 29th ) by Mississauga. According to the update it is now taking 44 days for them to process the first stage. I just wish I was able to send my application in earlier than that but oh well...

VVargas, I know it's hard to be patient in this process. If you are in Canada you can call the centre to find out if they started working on your file. I called them this morning unfortunately, nothing yet for me. The lady told me they will be closed on the 28th, 29th of Dec and 3rd of January...

I sent mine in a box too. I think it should be ok. but then again i sent mine on nov 26 so i'm waiting but there shouldn't be a problem.

Yes finally CIC is now processing applications for our month. I'm along from receiving a new letter soon but I'm happy that people who sent their application early november can expect to have good news. cheers to all
