I didn't get my AOR yet and it has been in process now for 20 days, is this still normal? Maybe Singapore to Thailand has a slow mailing system, I don't know

Hycore: My application's been in process 21 days and no AOR from Pretoria... I think it really just varies by VO what their practice is. I checked on another forum and it seemed like some people there had waited around 6 weeks for their AOR. As long as you're in process I think don't panic yet. If you are concerned, you can always contact the VO to reconfirm the address (and check if the AOR has been sent and whether additional documents are required while you're on the phone...)

It's neither good nor bad, really. It just means that Buffalo is a little swamped so they're lessening the work load by having other visa offices handle the applications.

My cousins wedding is finally over (I was cake maker, favor maker, mother of the ring bearer/flower girl and photographer) so the last few weeks have been busy!

OMG!!!! I just logged on to Ecas and it says Decision Made!!!! It says they have received my medicals and that they have sent a letter with their decision!!!

I'm hoping this is good news...what do you think?

They started processing on 9/1......they couldn't have denied me that quickly, right?

Is your case straight forward? What nationality?

Yes, we're a very straight forward case. He's Canadian, I'm American. We met while he was down here on a student visa in 2001. Dated/Lived together for 4 yrs, then got married in 2006. So we've been together almost 10 yrs and have a 4 yr old son. I'm a stay at home mom, he works (up in canada right now) both of our records are completely clean.


I'm so anxious for the letter.

I just checked my email and I got my passport request like 2 minutes ago!!!!!!!!
