Thanks. The one I submitted with the app was within the guidelines but I'm pretty sure that they are going to be expired by the time anyone actually looks at them I went and got fingerprinted yesterday and plan on mailing it out to the FBI in the next day or two.

I understand why it has to be a current police report but by the time the application reaches Buffalo almost everyone is bound to be expired

I believe the 3 months is only prior to submitting your application. I think that once they have verified that they have receive the papers it doesn't matter anymore. Or else all of our police certs would have expired during this very long process.

Since the baby is canadian, I don't think you are required to tell CIC, the way you would be if the applicant had had the baby (does that makes sense?), but certainly you can provide the baby's birth certificate to the visa office as "additional information" - the baby doesn't need to be sponsored, so you don't need to do all the work that would have to be done if she did, but it's probably a good idea for your partner/spouse to amend the family information form, as well, since s/he now has a child in Canada.

Have not received my AOR in the mail but ecas has updated to:

We started processing Hubby's application on September 7, 2010.

Medical results have been received.

e-CAS update for us too!!

We started processing XXXXXXX's application on September 8th!! Which was my birthday!!

doesn't say anything about the medicals, though. And oddly, despite having previously contacted the buffalo office via email, there was no email AOR thing from B'lo.

Still - I am much more hopeful that we won't have to re-do the FBI clearance now as we still have until mid-October to send in the clearance before it expires, and I would expect to receive the emailed or paper AOR before that.....

Hello everybody! I'm asking myself exactly the same question. I was one of the first to receive the sponsor's approval letter, but since then no change. My e-CAS still shows Permanent Residence Application Status Not Available... should I worry? Or is it just how the Paris office usually deals with applications? ??? The decision was made on August 5th... It's been more than a month!

Regarding Paris ... We have been waiting since June 15 (sponsorship approval) and still no word from Paris - no ecas update (not available) - no letter in the mail - no email ... Patience is a must for Paris I guess ...

I forgot to sign the section B of the additional family information page (where I swear that I don't have any children natural or adopted) so they sent the application back. But at least they opened it and we have a client id and such. Back in the mail today!

I'm applying through Buffalo, but this came back from Mississauga. This is the just the sponsorship part of the process unfortunately.
