It's not bad at all, but you will have to activate both phones?

If you are not on a contract with your current company then, its a great deal :)

Hey DNT2003,

My wife got a call from CHC New Delhi at 4:28 pm from the same number indicated by Fprince. Hope this helps.

Thanks CAN_2011, from your last post I gather it was between 4:00 and 4:30, so I've told her she can expect it at anytime, but I told her to be extra careful, and keep the phone dis-engaged all the time. I hope the PPR can come this week!!!!!!

My wife got her PPR today!!!
A few questions before she mails out her PP tomorrow...
1) What courier service would you recommend? Also the address for the Canadian High Commission is a PO Box, and most courier services won't deliver to a PO Box.
2) Do you have to inform the courier service that the package contains passports?

Thanks.

as fprince mentioned, its safe for you to submit the passport when you can, which is end of the month, I say don't worrry as the date isn't mentioned on your PPR, also there is a chance of CHC-ND calling you to ask for your passport, but I think they will only call if you've sent a CSE about PPR, the case with CAN_2011 and my self (but I haven't received THE CALL yet!)

Also please post the date that appears on the PPR (or is it safe for me to assume for you May 31)?

yea.. m in canada.. my ticket has been booked for 19 july but that can be taken care of.. The concern is the exam as they are changing rules from next year so want to be done with it..else i ll have to start all over again.. (:(.. i hope they dont ve the 45 day clause.. gosh.. this is driving me crazy!!!

Congrats!!!! can you tell the date that's listed on the PPR it self... I will move you to the BLUE zone on the next update :)

1) mostly people use Blue Dart, Speed Post, and people have even used DHL, they will cross out the POBOX line, so its better to use this address:

7/8 Shantipath, Chanakyapuri
New Delhi, 110 021, India

2) Better you inform them, for insurance regulations etc etc...

Just a thought....is it a bad idea to send a CSE, informing ND of the situation and letting them know when the passport would be mailed? Just so that they are aware of what's going on too!

(I tried to send this as a PM to common_man, but his inbox is full :S strange)

Hello all

I am new in this forum.. like many of you in the forum I am in the painful waiting period looking forward to CHC-ND's actions..

my application process timelines

Feb 15, 2011: PR application received by CHC New Delhi
Feb 21, 2011: medical reports received
Feb 28 , 2011: "medical reports received" line got erased and since then status is showing just "application received"
April 7, 2011: status changed to "In process" status says processing started on April 5 (so status got updated 2 days later)

will keep updating the status

thanks
Common_man

I don't think they deserve to know what we are upto :)

Payback time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It wouldn't be a bad idea, but I say it won't have any affect on it, I'd not send them anything, gives them something to worry about :) they give us all the worries!!!!
