Hi All,

So 6 weeks after sending the PP, eCAS status has changed to "In Process", now i know it's all very random but would love to hear some inputs...how long did it take for some of you guys to go from "In Process" to "Decision Made"?

Application Received ND - April 11, 2011
PPR - April 21, 2011
PPR reached ND - April 27,2011
eCAS says - We started processing your file on June 3, 2011.
Waiting for Visa.

@FebPR - I know our timeline is close, hopefully you also get some update.

hey guys just a quick update ND received my pp today......but i have seen dnt2003's list ND is so slow these day dont know why b4 people were getting there pp back in a month or sm time less then 3 week now they r taking more then monthin all cases but think now they ll speed up n well get visas soon........ good luck all

In our case.... we had In Process for a little over a month before it was changed to Decision Made... of course unfortunately nothing is standard with ND

i was in the same situation for 4 months and i understand what you guys are going through.
Nothing is wrong with the post and trust me its not lost.
These dumb ones sometimes forget to mail out the PPR.
They will finally realize it and send you one soon.
Keep your spirits high.
I was asking DNT to send a CSE next week and you should do it at the same time.
So you guys can track it together

Hi dear all...
Well.. i had applied my spouse application in oct 2010 and it was sent to delhi in nov 2010.. and SENT passport of my spouse on jan 2011 and interview was called for 14th feb 2011.. i went to india for interview with my husband and end of the interview the counsellor said that he needs a clearance police certificate again and SAID visa will be issued. we were so happy and we sent the police certificate the next day itself and from that day we have been waiting for our passport. when contacted through email and they replied..PLEASE HELP.... there is no response and ecas status hasnt still changed just shows"application received" - interview is scheduled on feb 14th 2011..

We acknowledge that our office has received original passport for this application.

Due to the high volume of correspondence received by this office, it generally takes several days following receipt to process passports and place them on file. The file is then directed to the attention of a processing team, where it may take several more days for a final review to take place to ensure all requirements have met for visa issuance.

This file is currently pending final review by the responsible processing team and a decision by the officer. As soon as the review has taken place, our office will contact the applicants in case any further documentation or information is required. If the officer is satisfied all requirements have been met, visas will be issued, following which we will return the passports to the applicant by registered mail. Kindly note that it can take several days for registered mail to reach its destination.

Please be advised that all statutory requirements must be met before we can issue visas. We therefore cannot provide you with a precise date by which this application will be finalized and the passports returned. Your continued patience is appreciated. We can assure you that we give the highest processing priority to cases which are ready for visa issuance for which passports have been submitted. Until we contact the applicant, either to request additional documents or information or to return the passports, we will not be able to respond to further enquiries.

They have my passport for 2 months now.I do nt know what these guys are doing.

Also, can someone tell me whether it will be helpful if I visit CHC ND personally and ask what is going on with my case. As I am from NCR, so I can visit them easily.CHC ND is open to public on Monday to Thursday 11:00-12:00.

Yes you can visit but most likely they will tell you to have a look at ecas and that is the same info they have.
Meeting them only helps when it is close to the 6 month deadline.
Many ppl here are waiting for more than 2 months, this trend started in April..so hang in tight, you are not alone.

And sorry to add but realistically speaking this is when they get a lot of last minute student visa applications which needs to be finalized
So they will be dedicating all their resources with Visa..if you remember in Feb/early march a lot of applicants got the visa within 2 months in ND..
Now they are dragging as they are short staffed...
