I'd say interview is a good sign, I do want to congratulate you, so did you receive a letter for Interview Date?

I hope I hear something soon on my case, tomorrow is Saturday and last time I checked ND is open for business.

DNT2003

Didn't recieve a letter yet, but it was update on ecas in the last 4 hours. That was about the last time I checked.

Don't think arranging documents in a fancy way and making things easy for the visa officer has anything to do with approval.
This is what i think.

Very true it does not affect approval but may affect processing times. Just like when I mark a paper and find it difficult to
read and mark I have to be careful not to take off an excessive amount of marks.

Does your e-case says "in process" if yes when did it change to in process?

or it tells about interview with the status of "Apllication Received"?

drdave,

congrats. did u get letter from ND or just call? whats ur ecas status now?

Congrats DrDave!!!

Yeah last step. My wife just got called for an interview - May 2nd.
Hopefully, she will be here by the end of May.

I find it ironic that the average for quick processes is 69 days and
May 2nd is day 69 of the file in Delhi.

DrDave

Dr Dave,
When you are done with the interview you should get the visa within 10-15 days...so mid march is a possibility.
Do you plan to go to India for the interview.. i wish you guys all the very Best.

nylalisa once told me that ecas is updated with the info and the applicant will get a detailed letter about the date, timing etc..

Then all I can say is that your case was one of the unlucky ones and
I have no explanation for it. Luckily these cases are in the minority
but I do feel quite sad that these things do happen. This is one reason
why I put up the stats so that people can see what is normal and
what isn't so they can do something about it.

DrDave

Congrats on the Interview Dr. Dave... You certainly have brought up a good discussion topic there.. I would not just attribute this to being "Lucky" as many call it.. I think and believe ND is doing a good job.. As you can see that they have issued so many visas in the last couple of weeks. People have received their PP with visa in less than 90 days...and this is not even the average time they have suggested..I think we should be happy with the way they have done their job.. I am sure they have protocols to follow and they are doing it... Its like saying "someone is not doing their job right" even without seeing or knowing how its done..which is a strong statement..

Yes.. the wait sucks.. but we dont have a choice...A case might be straightforward to you.. but it might not be to someone else.. We do not know the history of most of the folks here..if ND warrants further investigation they should have the right to do so...Good luck everyone.. I hope they continue to do the good work and issue you all with a visa ASAP.

@nb8285

you said in ur last post that u made 30+ calls to CIC Call center. I have one question regarding that to which call center u made that much calls and they take ur call every time and provide u information which u asked them because ND never take any call and provide information to anybody...

Hey FPrince, still holding tight I see... and you are so correct, you see the interview date on ECAS but in a week or two, you get a very detailed letter, telling you what to do, what to bring ect ect..

One thing for sure with Delhi, given all the applications they process, it is one of the fastest for scheduling interviews as well. SO Some things they are very good at, but there is give and take within this office for sure. Speed for accuracy, or they are so slow it comes to a grinding halt. :) With regards to overall speed, they are one of the fastest, so I can not place complaints there.
