So I'm a bit confused about who gets the PPR and other letters from ND. If I'm the sponsor and the respresentative, will it come to me in Canada or will it go to my wife in India as the applicant?

I was under the impression that it goes to the applicant in India regardless...but then some posts from yesterday suggested otherwise. So I'm confued now - is this another randomness of ND or is there something definitive?

Are there members of this forum that are also their spouse's representatives that can comment on this?

i was actually talking about lawyers too... if ur the sponsor and the representative there is a place where u sign off for correspondence to be received on behalf of the client of the lawyer, i.e on behalf of you. as long as u have ur partner's address listed for correspondence hopefully it will go there. if u have a lawyer, it will go to the lawyer.

Thanks gagan!!! That does make sense, cause when I log in with my ID it still says 'applctn recvd', does not say 'in proecess'...
I'm counting 2 weeks frm PPR date for it to change to 'In Process'...lets see what happens next week!

hey everyone,

so my husband landed last night. It went smooth, 15 minutes because he had all his forms ready. The whole thing took 1 hour because of others landing. Already there is a problem though, they have his whole name (first and last) listed as his last name only. SO now we have to admend that. PAIN... other than that all is great!!!

i guess only chc nd knows the difference between B and F letters

but to my understanding, i came up with the following logic:

B = Baad mein case solve karenge
F = Foran case solve karenge



may be someone else have a different logic

my e-cas was working fine around 1 hour back but now it shows this message....strange

"This form is incomplete. Please provide the necessary information below, then send your request again.

1.Immigration File Number should be in this format: B000000000."

It has happened earlier also with me and i could login after sometimes....lets see what happens this time

Well..B is sure for brin... but I have an 'F' number...that's why I said ECAS keeps saying I need a B number to log in..
That said...I know a lot of people in the forum have a B number for family class...I think Nylalisa mentioned that she had a 'B' number
everywhere in her husband's correspondence...
I'm reading diff stories abt the 'B' number and 'F' number...some say it's just a sequence...some say 'F' files are referred to a specific IO and 'B' files are general ones...not sure what the truth behind these numbers are..would be nice to know what it indicates to see where you stand!!!

and I also just noticed that they now have included my partners address info.

using imm file #, I see the address of the person being sponsored. so yours is fine. make sure address is correct...

ND is driving me nuts ! I login to ecas now with her imm file # and see my wife's address there...
does this happen?

if it's only 2 days, i will suggest you send everything together.

did you send 'details of foreign travel' form to them? if not, i would suggest you fill it out and send it along with UK PCC.

Hi,

I have already filled up the forms and necessary supporting docs for PCC from london, as per their site it will take 2 working days if i pay GBP 70 and 10 days for GBP 35.

I will go for GBP 70 so i get the PCC atleast by a couple of weeks.

As per the PPR letter from ND says dont sent anything (docs,PCC,PP) one by one but sent it as a package with all requested stuff.

Is it ok if i wait for the PCC and sent all the things together at one time to ND ?

I have also sent one email to ND saying that i have missed to submit the the Back/Dec form in the earlier kit and asked them is it ok if i sent this with the passport and PCC.

Waiting for the reply.

I don't think it means anything (at least anything that should be of concern to us). On our PPR, the file number started with "F".

Hey guys.

been running around trying to register for everything. So you know, RBC has a new comers package. Free banking for a year, saftey deposit for 6 months and even a credit card with no deposit with a limit of 1000.00 (to help you establish credit).

As for file numbers I had both an F file and when I went for the interview there was a B file number all over documents.
