hey everyone,

so my husband landed last night. It went smooth, 15 minutes because he had all his forms ready. The whole thing took 1 hour because of others landing. Already there is a problem though, they have his whole name (first and last) listed as his last name only. SO now we have to admend that. PAIN... other than that all is great!!!

All the best..can you tell us if the B4 form was used? as in some airports they dont..

@brin

i gt to knw frm the AOR they have sent it to my husband

its clearly mentioned in that............i wish they give priority to my case its been really awful to experience this :'(

danm...I'm actually surprised that they came out with it and told you what happened..rather than covering it up with some 'processing time' crap..

Atleast it's there now...! So don't worry...!!! hopefully it'll be done soon!

I don't think they told Him..the AOR would have said we sent your file to Pandora for processing and he would have caught it..
this us my guess 8)

I guess her husband would have told her that... 'to a wrong visa office' could have been "city, country" as the AOR says which visa office the file is being sent to.
still mewe has to confirm what this wrong visa office is...
i have a feeling mine could have gone through the same way and ended up recently in ND...
possible, with ND it is possible.

I am still confused with the file numbers which start with a B and an F.
Haven't read a concrete post on what it means yet........
any suggestions?

Wife and it starts with F..and i used her surname and dob to login..
funny thing is that this is the first time i am seeing an applicant having an address in ecas..usually only the sponsor has his address..
why me > ND........GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

I'd be happy if I were you. At least you know something is happening in your file, after all this time :)

F for family
B for business - or the economic category

Make sense since these would have different procedures for processing files.

Hi Guys,

Good News !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, i got my PPR dated 7/04/2011 and received on 13/04/2011 night, bribe to the post man works...... ;D

it took 6 days to reach from Delhi to Mumbai.

Surprisingly they never asked for Background/Declaration Form (IMM 0008_1)

they requested to submit:

1. RPRF (Landing Fee ) if not submitted ( will be pay by my wife may be today and sent the reciept to me )

2. PCC for time spend in any country for a period of 6 months or more, if not submitted ( I have already submitted PCC from India)

3. Original Passport.

Questions :

1 Do i need to proactively submit the Background/Declaration form with passport?
2 Do i need to get a PCC from london and submit with the passport ?
3 Can i sent an email to CHC ND to clairfy the PCC requirement from london and Background/Declaration form ?

Waiting for your valuable comments.

Ben

Congrats man and yeah I suggest you send the form along with your passports, all in one package. Better to be proactive and not make them think you want to hide something.
