Hi Guys,

Good News !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, i got my PPR dated 7/04/2011 and received on 13/04/2011 night, bribe to the post man works...... ;D

it took 6 days to reach from Delhi to Mumbai.

Surprisingly they never asked for Background/Declaration Form (IMM 0008_1)

they requested to submit:

1. RPRF (Landing Fee ) if not submitted ( will be pay by my wife may be today and sent the reciept to me )

2. PCC for time spend in any country for a period of 6 months or more, if not submitted ( I have already submitted PCC from India)

3. Original Passport.

Questions :

1 Do i need to proactively submit the Background/Declaration form with passport?
2 Do i need to get a PCC from london and submit with the passport ?
3 Can i sent an email to CHC ND to clairfy the PCC requirement from london and Background/Declaration form ?

nd gt my AOR today................


thats just ridiculous :'( nd all this is dne by Mississauga CHC

does this happen?

yes...it is normal for you to see her address....i assume that her status still says "in process" and once things settle down...it will say to "decision made"

When logging in with her info, you will only see information on her file. It will have nothing on you. SO its fine you are seeing her address.

Maybe, can you check yours? if you have a IMM file number..
anyone..do you guys see this new change where they have started to update the applicant's info on ecas..
only using their file # login...

i used my cousin sister's file #.....starting with F and she had the same thing...her adress showed up and status as "decision made"...

congrats. submit all forms whichever u didnt submit. dont send email..u will get reply after 20-30 days...

Ok...I tried loging in with his immigration file #, and it's not allowing me...the file number starts with 'F' and ECAS says it should start with B
I remember u saying u had an 'F' #, r u logging in with ur wife's details or ur's?

that's strange....cuz the file number which starts with letter F is the file immigration file number....may be they havent started the file and changed the status to "in process"




one thing....if u...as a sponsor log in to e-cas with ur client id and see the status of principal applicant as "application received"...u will not be able to see the status of using ur spouse id cuz they have not changed hhe status to "in process"

Thanks gagan!!! That does make sense, cause when I log in with my ID it still says 'applctn recvd', does not say 'in proecess'...
I'm counting 2 weeks frm PPR date for it to change to 'In Process'...lets see what happens next week!

hey everyone,

so my husband landed last night. It went smooth, 15 minutes because he had all his forms ready. The whole thing took 1 hour because of others landing. Already there is a problem though, they have his whole name (first and last) listed as his last name only. SO now we have to admend that. PAIN... other than that all is great!!!

how did u find that the file was sent to the wrong office? ...That's just ridiculous alright!!!

I hope they prioritise your file and move it fast, cause the delay was due to their fault! Good luck!!!
