Hi Guys,

I got a strange letter from ND, asking for our marriage certificate

My wife said, that was the first thing she put it in the envelop.....

Also the letter saying if the document is not reaching their office by 26/5/2011, the visa may get refused.

till this time they dont even asking me for the Background/declaration form ( IMM 0008_1).... so strange...

and the latest letter i got in 2 days from delhi to mumbai.

anyway, i already requested my PCC from london, so i will put all the docs including marriage certificate (again) and send it together.

I still dont know what all they are going to ask me more

I believe either it's got something to do with the authenticity of the document or they prob just lost it somewhere and want to include it in the file...are they asking for the original or a copy? either way...don't worry...you don't know why they want it....so...just send it and leave it up to them....but it's funny how they havn't asked you for IMM0008_1 if they already went through your file and wanted more docs...! anyway..just do what you got to do!

they just mentioned the certificate - not clearly mentioned the copy or original, i will send the photo copy.

so they know how to sent the letters quickly if they need something from us ;D

The photocopy would not have been legible, send them one again..this is the govt issued one right? not the one they give u in church or temple...
They only need the Govt issued marriage certificate.
Don worry about them not asking you for the missing form and if you were in UK...
apparently delhi has a lot of talent and potential as they process application so carefully and know how to do their job LMFAO.
count on your luck my friend, they might not even ask you for that form..but do send it just in case.

Ben... Ahhh!! you dont want to mess it up man!! Send the original one.. What if u send the photocopy and they send back another letter.. Well as a matter of fact you know they need the originals.. refer to the application package....

Atleast you know they are working on your file....thats a good sign!!! Based on what i have seen if the application is complete and they are satisfied with the proof they will grant the visa in 2 - 4 weeks after PPR.

Sank...I'm not sure if they asked for the originals ...they say send only the photocopy unless specified(ie: PCC/ Medicals) Which part of the application pkg are u referring to?

I agree with Sank...Just send them in the original copy......I am sure they will return that back aft the process. Its better save then to be sorry..........coz they already stated that they need those documents by the 26/05/2011. Why wanna take risk dear. Wish you goodluck wth everything

Yeah last step. My wife just got called for an interview - May 2nd.
Hopefully, she will be here by the end of May.

I find it ironic that the average for quick processes is 69 days and
May 2nd is day 69 of the file in Delhi.
