Is ND shut down till the world cup is over?

yah they are on vacation. I am waiting for my file to reach delhi..but there is no ecas update yet. its already 13 days

thanks for your support... I saw on another forum (January 2011) that someone's application was lost.. they asked him the tracking number too.. after a week he called them again and they said that either he should wait for 2 more weeks or send a photocopy of the original application with original signatures.... he also sent a letter explaining that his application was lost.. they approved the application on the same day they received it... I guess we will also wait for 1 more week and contact them again... if they do not find our application we will send them the photocopy of the application again... hopefully they will not put us back in queue for sponsorship approval...

My friend, give them 3-5 weeks once it reaches Delhi..you will see updates in ecas.

looks like because there are no updates on e-cas for the last couple of days....



well...it's wednesday in India already...lets hope that we see a change on e-cas

i guess all u have to do is wait for their timeline and once that is over then u can go ahead and re-submit...

Thanks guys... I excited to leave, excited to see my husband and most excited to get this interview over and bring him home.

SO a bit of info for all you cool cats. I got my CAIPS notes today. Can't say they are helpful but one thing I will tell you, EVERYTIME you contact Delhi, it is noted on the file and what it was about and what their response was to it. So my suggestion, DONT contact them, sit back and wait it out, unless they go over their time limit. Also I see clearly that the file is in progress despite it not showing that it is on ECAS. And there is nothing alarming there, to be honest, it says we are recommended for interview but not why... they talk ALOT about my first marriage and thats about it. Does say anything about our age difference, that it was a love match and that we met on the internet , or that I have much more education then him. It says nothing actually except I am divorced. REpeately says that.

So I thought I would share with you all, everyone take care, and Ill keep you posted as soon as I know anything come the 30th.

nylalisa what did they want you in your doc request, and what was the reason they want the interview

We got a doc request today

They want more proof of communication even before we where dating , which is hard to get cuz we talked here and there on msn

they also want copies of our passport
