Sponsoring Spouse - Process Steps

Sept 28 2010 – Processing Fee (Landing Fee & etc) submitted.

Oct 8 2010 - Mailed to Case Processing Centre (CPC) in Mississauga
Oct 14 2010 – Received by Case Processing Centre (CPC) in Mississauga
Nov 8 2010 - Approved by CPC in Mississauga
Nov 15 2010 - Spouse document is received by Canada Embassy - New Delhi
Dec 7 2010 - Passport request Received.
As per request the necessary support document is prepared & sent with passport.
Dec 8 2010 - Passport Submitted through courier.
Dec 10 2010 - Passport Received by Canada Embassy - New Delhi

Now i am waiting see how long it will take for the Embassy to send his Passport back with the Visa Stamp. I found out all this after calling the CIC office today.

Hey guys, i just got a call from my husband, he got the VISA with passport. WOOHOO It basically took him 3 month and 4 day. Thanks everyone for ur guidence.

Guys I found this timeline of someone from immigration.ca/forum.

I mean its better then ours I am not sure how ND is so lazy. I mean it should be first come first serve basis. I am even tired now of searching on peoples timeline on internet.
