kuku,mapledreams:

I have been a silent watcher in this forum and other forums...

Are your cases straight forward ? any foreign travels ?

Its interesting to note that many ND applicants who post here have been requested for a passport just after 1 month (Mine got approved on 12-dec-2011 so hoping to get it anytime around Jan 20)

How long is the average waiting time (based on members' posts) after the passport request from ND ?

Given that cities like London and Sydney which has an average processing time of 7 months is able to do the BC and get back within 1-2 months after the PPR. wondering it should be the same with ND too....

Welcome to the world of "patience"

please share your time line in your profile.

yes our cases are very straight forward and crystal clear if we see through our own eyes !!! I have no idea about consulate officer though.. ;) ;)

Waiting time after PPR varies from 2 months to 6 months depending upon your case.

Now talking about processing time of ND office. They are very hard working people on this earth and like to stick to their processing time ( 6 months) , no matter how much simple and clear your case is, unlike other consulates who are lazy enough to issue a visa ( not holding your passport) much earlier than their average processing time if your case is clear and simple. :D :D

@ Kuku

I will let my dear friend Kuku explain that scenario for you ;)

@ vengat83

Thanks Kuku! ;)

How do you add the timeline on the left side ? :(

My Modify Profile section has only one link called 'Account Related Settings'
It doesn't have a link for 'Look and Layout Preferences' and many other options....

:o That's the 1st thing I check.

Mine doesn't have any of the following links under Profile Info - Modify Profile:

Forum Profile Information
Look and Layout Preferences
Notifications and Email
Personal Message Options

It has only Account Related Settings

May be it gets enabled only after gaining some reps...probably.
