@was1982

Which documents did the ND office requested ?

also try to order CAIPS note to know the reason for interview, which will help your spouse to be well prepared in advance.

I am thinking about quitting my job here, go back to my husband and come back together when he gets visa. But, its so hard to make up one's mind..there is so much to think about..i am trying to look at the big picture..but lately, its getting pretty tough to stay apart like this :(

Just take few weeks off and visit him? btw are you citizen or PR?

@rozine

I understand the pain. I have no answer to my wife's question every day she has to ask me when we talk. " when will I get to see you?"

lol @ kuku.. tell me about it. And all relatives in india asking me when am I coming back to take her. And thanks to ND switching to this new system of requesting PP at the beginning stage, most of the people think she would get visa in few weeks..and I am tired of explaining how ND works now.... :'(

I know, same here!! everyone's like max one month and he will be here..and if i try to explain them, they wouldn't believe me! >:( and if i talk about quitting job, some ppl think i am stupid. I have stopped talking and listening to others :P. but my parents are always supportive to whatever i do :D

and i am a citizen. I thought abt that too, going for a couple of weeks. but, after i am back, its gonna be same old thing again.

At least that is good that ND asks for passport so the relatives will know that it is under process and we have really filed for the sponsorship.. :) :) :)

@rozine

do not quit the job.. rather take few weeks off and visit India.. It is hard to find a good job with this economy.. But if you are sure that you will get a good job after coming back, then you can quit it. Just my 2 cents...

yea, i totally agree! getting a full time job, with all benefits is tough. i will talk to my manager abt getting few weeks off. i dont know if he will agree since i had three months off when i got married ::)

If your manager approved 3 months vacation for marriage then I would suggest you to stick with that company. :D

Hi Rozine

There is no point of taking a couple weeks off and going to visit him, you will be worse when you get back. Take my word for it, Ihave experienced it...I missed my husband all the more and I wish I could just stay with him...if you think you will get a job when you get back , then quit your job and go especially if they don't pay very well. I am planning to do the same in march but its because I am enrolled in a course right now..so come March as soon as I am done with my exam, I will quit and go back. Before that if the visa comes then nothing like it, but honestly i don't really care anymore as long as I get to stay with him even if it is in timbaktoo..lol!! sleep on it!

Let me know the company name before you get another job and quit the previous one. A friend of mine is looking for one. ;) ;) ;D ;D
