yeah I understand that PPR does not mean that interview has been waived especially when it is received early in the process. But I was just trying to figure out the chances of getting interview after PPR. You data is certainly helpful. If I have to tell the probability of getting visa after PPR without an interview, then the ratio is 100%. ;D. But that is from less than 15 applicants who I know got their visa without interview. There are many more across the country.
May be those who got an interview, didn't contact me.

Just to clarify, there are 3 people in the above data who went for interview. Frankly I don't want any interview I hope they issue VISA soon, Its been a year since I am away from my wife. We already missed our 1st anniversary.

my anvi is on 5th dec...
don't know if i m gonna get visa till then or no...

I know how it feels.. You must file a lawsuit for mental torture.

My wife still curses me for not being with her on that day and I pass it on to CHC even though we are within our time limit so far..

Make sure you wait to get the visa and PR card before you file a lawsuit. JK

Back home my inlaws were asking me to come for "First Diwali", now they are asking me to come for "First Sankranthi"
My wife asks "atleast will you be here for our first Anniversary? (11 March)

I have only lived two weeks with my wife. And it is going to be 8 months. Another 6 months!!! = 14 months.
I could not go because of my position here.

Why cant they wrap this entire PR thing in 3 months?
What is the actual process time? means how long does it take to "work" on the file?
Will the total work be 40 hours per application time?
If Canada receives 20000 spouse applications they need only 350 people including VO to process
The CIC has more than 5000 staff.

Last week I posted on MP Jason Kenny's Facebook.
Another PC MP replied for my post saying my post is more based on my personal experience
and that the PC government is doing better then the Liberals.

The discussion is going on word to word, sentence to sentence.

I got Medicals Received recently too...guess they are working on June files now. Btw, I got "In process" too, and that they started working on my file from Nov 9th. Hope you get good news soon too.

Thanks - let's hope something happens soon. You said the person on the phone told you yours was nearly ready, but you only got IP that same day - that gives me some hope as well Good luck!

HE LOOKED SCARED... I WENT UPTO HIM AND TOLD HIM EVERYTHING IS FINE BUT AFTER 15 MINUTES TWO OFFICERS CAME AND TOOK HIM AWAY .. BACK TO ME...THE LADY WHO WAS CHECKING MY THINGS CALLED ME ...

I DIDNT GET GOOD IMPRESSION OF CANADA... I FOUND THIS COUNTRY BIT EXPENSIVE THAN AUSTRALIA.. I WAS THERE FOR 4 YEARS...ANYWAYS ALL THIS HAPPEN @ PEARSON TORONTO....

Can any one suggest, i want to carry skype screen shots and facebook posts with me for my interview as a proof, kindly suggest whether it'll be fine as i have only black and white print-outs of all the stuff coz i couldn't arrange colour printouts, will it be fine (black and white printouts).

Hi there,

I think the black and white print-outs are just fine as long as they are clear and readable. Maybe if you are taking in any pictures from fb and if they were in colour, you and your wife (and others) would be more recognizable. But, overall, I do not think its an issue. Black and whites should workout perfect

I hope you have made sure that you have taken Skype screen shots showing the dates and the durations of your calls. The dates indicate that you guys are in a continous relation.

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia's processing time is 11 months and one of the members of this forum on another thread applied in August and has already got her visa yesterday!

And my dear ND hasn't even asked for my hubby's passport yet, 32 days after the supposed "file transfer"

I am sure they can atleast cut the time line by 20-30% if ND start using speedpost for all correspondents. I heard they only use speedpost for sending PP back. From this forum, I have learnt that many ppl either did not receive or received even after a month of sending PPR by snail mail. They should stop relying on snail mail and start calling/email along with sending out mails.
