Hello,
I'm Ajay and I've applied for my Wife's sponsorship in September. I got my sponsorship approved today and the file has been sent to New Delhi (as per the email I received from CIC). I would like to join this thread (I'm currently a member of Sep 2011 thread). Here's my info: Application reached Missisaga on Sep 23, 2011; Sponsorship approved on Nov 28, 2011.

hey no update yet. i follow the forum everyday, usually read it on my way to work. had nothing new to offer so haven't posted for a while. in couple days I'll share with you guys what my next steps are gonna be.

Any July applicants here who sees any movement. Rozine you also applied in July what does your status says, My status still shows application received July 15.

How long does Medical take. I had my medicals in June how come status doesn't show anything.

Mine doesn't say anything either.. it is still "application received" like urs..and medical was done back in May, but no update.

Guys I was wondering about the time line of ND office after PPR..

what are the chances of getting an interview after PPR ? Do we have any incidence on forum ? accept my aplogy if I missed something and repeating this question.

I know most of the applicants who receive PPR get their PP back with stamping sooner or later without having to go for interview in most of the cases.

Btwn one interesting time line from a person I know through my brother. And this is a fact. I do not know the exact date but this is what he told me on phone.

application mailed - July
approved early Sept
wife received PPR - Early Oct
PP received with visa - Late Nov ( Today)

Time period between PPR and visa issuance was around 5-6 weeks I guess.

I posted this earlier, It is based on the last 50 approved applicants

Decision Made after PP received Out of 50 People

19 people less than 32 days 38.00%
14 people between 32 and 62 days 28.00%
17 people more than 63 days 34.00%

As for interview, I don't think getting PPR mean automatically means that interview is waived. You still have to satisfy all conditions so they can call for interview. I am sure senior in this forum may have more info
