thx for ur response mate abt pics they have asked for original pics as we sent them photocopy after asking them over phone n abt date error my wife put 07/07 (dd/ mm) instead of 02/07 she put 7 2 time. .

They do ask for additional pics if they are not satisfied with the ones you provided...send them pics AFTER marriage which shows both of you in group settings with parents/friends etc.
Once they ask for additional pics it implies they think the pics you sent was a flag for them..for some reason they just cant make any decision with the ones you sent or was very generic..

reg the date error..which date did you make that error, could be a small issue or BIG one depending on where the mistake happened.
ex: when did you first contact the sponsor..if you said it was in 2010 and can not prove that now..that's gonna be trouble.

Just send them the originals and confirm the error... its a very small mistake that could have happened to anyone - just make sure you explain it.. you're good

How many did you send earlier. How many functions were there.
How much was the gathering. Do you mind sharing that maan.

If possible if you have honeymoon pictures... please do send them those also ... Even the one kissing would ask icing on the cake.. Provide them all the proof ... I have dont that as one of my friends was asked about the proof of honeymoon in the interview...

Baggage Allowance for guests travelling on migrant visas

Guests travelling on migrant visas* will be permitted to carry a maximum of 40 kilos as free baggage allowance, where the weight concept is applicable on Jet Airways operated international flights and on the connecting Jet Airways operated domestic flights.

The migrant visa baggage allowance can be availed only on the migrant visa holder's first outbound journey and not on subsequent trips.

*Visas eligible for migrant visa baggage allowances are those issued for immigration purposes. Visas also include those issued to dependants of the primary migrant visa holder who are entitled to immigrant status by virtue of their relationship such as spouse, children, fiancee, etc. UK Tier 1 General and dependant visas and Australian Fiancee / Provisional Spouse visas are also eligible.

Economy Free Baggage Allowance between USA / Canada and Europe

Economy Class tickets issued on / after September 16, 2010 will be entitled to carry one free check-in bag of 23 kgs. A second bag will be permitted at a charge of USD 50 Ex US, CAD 50 Ex CA and EUR 50 Ex Europe within the acceptable size and limitations. The charges for any additional baggage will be as per the existing excess baggage policy.

Tickets already issued prior to September 16, 2010 will be entitled to two bags at no charge within the acceptable size and weight limitations, irrespective of date of travel.

Make sure you have photos of all the important ceremonies/functions pertaining to the marriage as well as post wedding pics. afterall its not about the number of photos, they want proof the relationship is genuine.

You can use both as the file number... But mostly UCI number is prefered when contacting the ND...

Your UCI number is like a universal file number ... when ever you will contact ND they can check all your previous communication through UCI number... While the application is limited the application you have done....

I don't think this is applicable for Jet flights between India and Toronto. I checked their website. Its 2 luggages each of 23 kgs.

Exactly what cdngrl said.

In addition, if possible don't just send photos, identify close family members (Dad, Mom, sister, brother,etc..) & relatives in the photograph. Also identify the name of the ceremony for each marriage photo. This would help even a layman (should they be : :) understand that it's a genuine marriage and couple went on honeymoon, blah..blah..blah..blah..

Now as documents are requested from me.. if it gets delivered on monday, when they will start processing the file?
They started processing my file on 8th june and sent letter on 9th june and letter reached me on 16th june. If requested documents reach them by 20th June, when would they start processing my file?
