Dont worry about the status even mine says "Application Received"... and ND has the PP since April 9th...

May be... but people who are applying in Feb even March applicant they are being approved .... seriously its frustrating why it is being delayed... and ecas still says "Application Received"....

I received PPR on 18th March... then i arranged all the document that i wanted to send to ND with passport and ND received the PP + doc. on 9th April....

After we get the approval of sponsorship... ND first receives the scanned documents from Canada and the physical file follows after that... well i dont know the exact reason... but i have contacted one of the lawyer over here and he said whatever additional documents ND receive... they receive...

Even if they have asked you additional documents... the file is delayed for sure... as I think all the documents they send it to Ottawa for processing and then they send it back to ND...

I dont know what to say... but if we are sending more documents or pictures along with the PP... it takes a long time... as I have done the same thing and i am still waiting for their reply... Along with the PP i have send some more marriage pictures and call logs ... Cheers..

Hello thecoolguysam, Just send them the PP and also the affidavit stating the change of address.... about the travel history... just write them a letter stating that you havent been out of India... Also write them a letter why you havent submitted the old PP...

It depends... they say the department that receive the courier is different dept. they say its a big office and dont know how long they will take to process the packet and reach to the officer who handles the file... So dont think about all these just send them the documents and leave it to GOD....

Your UCI number is like a universal file number ... when ever you will contact ND they can check all your previous communication through UCI number... While the application is limited the application you have done....

You can use both as the file number... But mostly UCI number is prefered when contacting the ND...

If possible if you have honeymoon pictures... please do send them those also ... Even the one kissing would ask icing on the cake.. Provide them all the proof ... I have dont that as one of my friends was asked about the proof of honeymoon in the interview... Cheers...
