Welcome back. Without you the forum has been relatively quiet.

The biggest news and a happy news is that Fprince has got decision made on e-CAS. Big party time on this forum.

You will get your PPR this week and in next 2 weeks the final visa. I know it's hard to stay without getting worried, but I am getting a feeling that they have opened your file and may be it's the way your assigned VO works. He sends the PPR when he is ready to approve the case. My VO is different. He gets the PP first and then look at the file.

Congrats for making it to the green zone, this is a good sign, I'm glad you got it done before me, we have the same dates for FileRX by ND, and yet I have no sign of PPR, but good to know you finished first

I hope its your turn FebPR, or wait I have to go through 6-7 pages before i read all the replys, I've had a busy week, hence couldn't be active on the forums.

Since you've received the PPR, just give them 2 weeks and I hope you hear the good news, in the mean time I'm adding you the table

I am really worried about my Visa and wondering why is taking so long.

Medical received at CHC ND : 7th Jan 2011
Application filed (CPC-M) : 10th Feb 2011
Application approved (CPC-M) : 10th Mar 2011
Application received at New Delhi : 22nd Mar 2011
Passport Requested : 29th Mar 2011
Passport received at New Delhi : 7th Apr 2011
Processing started at New Delhi : 18th Apr 2011

I do not have the anything mentioned about my medical results on ECAS.So it is possible that there could be some issue with my medical report?

Also, I have submitted a PCC from Netherlands along with PCC from India.Will they verify the PCC from Netherlands?
I am trying to figure out whether this is the reason it is taking this long.

I have generated CSE 2-3 days ago.Hoping to get some reply.

I want to wait until she gets the passport back to celebrate, still not 100% comfy with CHC ND.
All your support throughout these months have really kept me cool.

I say not sure, it depends on the officer, for example I did take the extra 30 days to get my wifes name changed to my name, and add my name in the spouse field, but see I have no clue where the F is my PPR, its just stupid that there is no standard being followed here. it should be FCFS (First come first served)

Hey fprince & experts on the forum

Looking at gaganmaan4u's speedy approval, it seems to me adding the spouse's name to you passport gives the visa officer sufficient proof that the marriage is genuine. Would you guys agree?? It's just a thought. May be we can add to the list of things to do for speedy approval.

Again, no body can derive any definite conclusion about the standards at CHC-New Delhi.

does this mean interview is waived...i noticed usually if there is an interview at this point of time it would have been posted , and stayed application reveived...

i hope this means 2 more weeks for decesion made

I my self was expecting a flood of visas, but it never happened, but again I have to go through few more pages of this threads to find everything out... I reply as I read... I hope you get something soon..... see some people after us has gotten good news, I'm sure you is next then its my turn

I could see that we filed our app at almost the same time.. my file was rcvd in ND on 18 may'11 .. but ecas says we received null my name application for PR on 18 may.. I am worried about the word null... do u have any clue what it means???
I would appreciate ur reply..

FLIGHT STATUS UPDATE -

Guys, if anyone is travelling this week monitor the situation of the volcanic eruption and the flight impact.
Last year the same issue caused millions of stranded passengers, if your spouse is landing this week make sure all is fine..could be a nightmare for 1st time travellers.
Just FYI as i heard 200 odd flights are cancelled in Europe...
