After entering the 7th month of processing my ecas is updated. I hope this is good news and will be positive.
I want to wait until she gets the passport back to celebrate, still not 100% comfy with CHC ND.
All your support throughout these months have really kept me cool.

Welcome back. Without you the forum has been relatively quiet.

The biggest news and a happy news is that Fprince has got decision made on e-CAS. Big party time on this forum.

You will get your PPR this week and in next 2 weeks the final visa. I know it's hard to stay without getting worried, but I am getting a feeling that they have opened your file and may be it's the way your assigned VO works. He sends the PPR when he is ready to approve the case. My VO is different. He gets the PP first and then look at the file.

You are very welcome, and I'm glad you made it through, I was litterly shivering in a GOOD way when I Read your post, I hope you stay as active as you did while waiting, but yes ENJOY the summer with your wife.... I'm not sure if I can but I wanted to take my wife somwhere like Canada's Wonderland to see the fireworks on Canada Day, but from the status on my case.. not sure, but I know all of you are praying for me

DNT, i am not going anywhere..i will be here as long as you guys enjoy my company..remember what i told you, you should send a CSE this week as it has been close to 2 months in ND and no PPR..reminds me of my case where i was waiting for 4 months..so send the CSE

And i hope it ends like an Indian movie without any more "climax"

FLIGHT STATUS UPDATE -

Guys, if anyone is travelling this week monitor the situation of the volcanic eruption and the flight impact.
Last year the same issue caused millions of stranded passengers, if your spouse is landing this week make sure all is fine..could be a nightmare for 1st time travellers.
Just FYI as i heard 200 odd flights are cancelled in Europe...

Nope this is not what you do " compare ". You can not claim that others have got it and you did not.

1. You can write the CSE like i did from here in Toronto and use ur wife's email as reply to..15 days and she should get a reply back.
2. Send them a polite reminder saying you are worried abt the 2 month wait and NO FILE #/PPR.

Make it sound like you are worried that you did not receive any communication from ND. 8)

Fully agree with Fprince. Never compare as they say every case is unique.

Write something along the lines where you say that you have not received any communication from them and you are worried the letter might have been misplaced. A CSE will not fasten your processing. I guess CSE will bring your file from the limbo.
