hi all,

Ppl who ve already got their visas - can u pls tell me hw a registration number would be? am trying to track my reg post, n post officers say they want the tracking #.. am trying to find out my tracking #

Not sure how you would get a tracking number when ND does not even tell you when they post it...
And from one more applicant from TN, she got in 7 days..Delhi - P'cherry

Hi all.. How do you know that u are issued with a visa without getting the passport back ? Here I see people giving date saying visa issued even before the status on ecas is changed. .

When your ecas changes to "Decision made" 99% chances are your passport will be sent back to you with a Visa..that is the trend in 2011, as far as i have seen members report it.
A few are still waiting for the passport.............where ecas has been changed 2 weeks ago.

have u ever contacted chc new delhi and asked them about the update on ur file??

When your ecas changes to "Decision made" 99% chances are your passport will be sent back to you with a Visa..that is the trend in 2011, as far as i have seen members report it.

agree....cpc-mississauga usually does not have any problem and usually are pretty fast in meeting the deadlines...but it's the chc new delhi which takes foreever to do the case management...

Yes, mailed them last wednesday..still no reply...

i dont think chc nd gives any tracking number/registration number...they just send the pp back via registered email....

Sure, as i did not have a file number she had to quote my client id in the email.
My wife emailed chc nd on wednesday...

My husband sponsored my application under the family class in Nov. The sponsorship was approved Dec 22 and from then i have not heard anything from CHC ND.
I am not sure if the letter for AOR/PPR was sent, i still do not have a file number and it concerns me.
Can you please let me know the status as it has been close to 3 months in Delhi and still no contact from the embassy.

Wife received her passport today. It was mailed out on the 10th. It took 11 days to reach Bombay. Need to book her flight to Vancouver now. Finally the wait is over. Hope the rest of you'll receive your visa soon as well.

i guess then my sister should not send the case specific query yet...her pp and additional docs were received by CHC New Delhi on Mar 14/11....i think she should wait until at least the end of March....

You should have your visa soon so will i

yea...i was thinking of that too...cuz it is too early to send any email to chc nd....i was just wondering if they would ever change the status from "application received" to "in process"....

Thanks, prayers do work..Being from chennai you should know how hard it is to console a wife.. and a tamil ponnu hahaha...its hard, i try everyday and she is loosing it...its very hard for her to be alone without me...i am not even sure if my file is in delhi..as only me and sid_dua have this scenario of no PPR for 3-4 months after file moving to delhi..i hope my file didn't go to Australia
