Ok I just signed up for this ECas tracker, I am tried of being a slave to checking it.

Go to that address and then click you can access e-cas already. it will ask you for info... FYI I used my receipt number not my client ID. Although it says its safe, you also have to give your last name and birth date. I didnt want to chance to much. It will check that it is working and you should get e-mails straight away.

If you are signing up now I will wait to make sure you dont need anymore help and that it works.

Thanks,Nylalisa for your help, It doesnt look like its a CIC website and I am bit unsecured about this tracker website as I found this on one of the threads that scares me :-(

ecas tracker is not by CIC government agencies. its a private website on a public domain run by some dude matt or mathew. and the URl is from UnitedKingdom. canada governemnt will never share info with UK.
basically the website tracker guy is a programmer computer.he makes some automated scripts which uses ur client id number and date of birth and place of birth and other private information u give them at time of signup.then its a like a robot every day it runs on his computer and logs onto the website and crawls through the updates. if there is a new line on the page then it sendss u an email.
this site has been reported to government and they are looking at shutting it down for security reasons.

No it's definetely not run by the Govt of Canada, it is a private guy who made it. I used my receipt # if anything. I guess I was one of the sheep following the heard. LOL. Appearently it just checks ECas for you. But you are right to be weary of it. I have been following people who used it and havent heard anything negative so far.

The guy actually lives in Hamilton right now. I googled him... i think he just rents his domain from a UK site.

@ Sanyrog : China eastern airlines comes via SHANGHAI , its kind of a long journey 2-3 hours extra long than other airlines, but if u are coming for first time to canada, I won't recommend to coming through china eastern as their service is so so.

Get a good experience by British airways/Lufthansa Airlines/Cathay Pacific

I flew Swiss Air back from India, I enjoyed the service but I am not sure of their baggage limits. Sorry
