our ecase were just application received (not in process) n fyi if u receive add doc req then chances r more for interview
(hope u got ur answer sis, not bro hehhehe)
but guys just chill dont get mad abt interview just enjoy ur time n pray for all........................
nd is unpredictable these days they r doing wht ever they want no criteria i know a person who applied on 27 april n he is called for interview in jan......wtf ....
so dont think too much try to enjoy ur time

Ecas is not working right now...so I guess they must be doing updates, I hope they updates ours too

No buddy, I had an interview in august I was told by VO that me and my baby has to go through the DNA test . They called me in November to come for the DNA test in December so it took them 4 months to call me for DNA test . DNA test was held at CIC ND and I met so many families there who were waiting for the DNA test since months . I met one gujrati family they came from Gujrart and they told me they were waiting for DNA test since VO told them at the interview in JAN so it took VO 11months to call them for DNA test . They said our baby is one year old now seemed very frustrated from CIC ND process . I heared that its a thumb rule if your wife is pregnant or if u have the baby you have to go through the DNA which makes your process very lengthier. After DNA test they told me its gonna take 4to6 weeks to get the results, after that I have to get the ARC God knows how manny months its gonna take more.

yes buddy this ND is impossible...
look at me i never understand that whether BC taking that long or its ARC process taking that time... its been 5months after interview no visa + my medical expiring in 1week...

According to the steps mentioned in cic website, "the medicals received" notification appears later in the stage right before making the decision. But ND is not following these steps I guess. But ya, according to the website ,interview comes before "medical received" notification. I had never checked the link regarding the explanation of application status mentioned in ECAS. :

The change what we observe as far as meidcals received has to do something with the incorporation of GCMS. I had written a big post explaining my theory in which I was also awarded a Phd
