I got the PPR but it just says "application received" and the address is gone from the past 3 days...

May be they are processing your initial review And you will get in process when your address reappear. or may be it's just BFD on your file rightnow.

OK there's one applicant whose ecas said "in process" and then "medicals received" at a later stage and got the visa with no interviews! Phew!

According to the steps mentioned in cic website, "the medicals received" notification appears later in the stage right before making the decision. But ND is not following these steps I guess. But ya, according to the website ,interview comes before "medical received" notification. I had never checked the link regarding the explanation of application status mentioned in ECAS. :

So true. ND is notorious in messing with us mentally. They have been putting"medical received" right away to almost all recent approvals that leans no option for us to predict anything in future. At least, for others such as mabledreams who didn't get Medical received rightaway would have a better idea in future when she will have one. So to conclude, relation between interview call and "medical received" in ecase is inconclusive due to the unpredictable nature of ND.

I think what gwalyat said makes more sense that if you see "in process" you would have less chances of interview call.
