I did mine at state cid ibadan for 10k. Im sure it would be cheaper in alagbon. When i got there i was given a form to fill, then 10 fingers were printed and i was asked to come for it in a week's time because it would be taken to alagbon for processing. I was made to understand that one can get the pcc the same day. The pcc is only valid for 3 montha. Have you been able to sort out the identification issue for your kids?.MercyIbadilayewa said:Pls, can anyone help with details of how to get police criminal check report in Alagbon, Lagos. I need information on how long and how much.
Thank you so much for this detail, Ayayombo. It is very helpful. Concerning the identification, I just got another information from my wife that the register can be obtained. Pls, may I ask u one more question? Where did u do ur medical? I only know of Lagos, Abuja and PH. Any panel physician in Ibadan? Thanks once againayayombo said:I did mine at state cid ibadan for 10k. Im sure it would be cheaper in alagbon. I don't think so , Accra will request that if your case is not straight forward, it doesn't matter if kids are involved, if you can give them proves such as DNA Etc you should be fine .ayayombo said:congratulations to those who heard back from Accra this week. May we all hear good news when its our turn. A quick question, is it customary for Accra to request for interview when a child is involved?.
Thank God for that. We did our medicals in Lagos at the consultant practice in ikoyi. It costs 28k per person.MercyIbadilayewa said:Thank you so much for this detail, Ayayombo. It is very helpful. Thanks for the reply. We didnt submit dna test though, just his birth certificate, i figured they would request for it if they need it.Obronibini said:I don't think so , Accra will request that if your case is not straight forward, it doesn't matter if kids are involved, if you can give them proves such as DNA Etc you should be fine .

All best guys!
Wow Nother good news fromEnyamy said:Hi All -
Dave01 seemed to have this issue too but would really like some help. The Accra HC emailed us on July 8th to say the package is ready for pickup. We have sent FedEx 3 times to pick up the package and they were told that "it is not ready for pickup". Dave01 how did you get around this? We tried emailing the embassy - but they pretty much just forwarded an email to us saying the passport is ready for pickup.
My partner is currently here in Canada visiting with us - so when we sent the Passport to Accra we were unable to send a return pre-paid envelope. So what we have done is to create a "FedEx Account" and to do a return from Ghana to us. If anyone is aware of another courrier in Ghana to use - or Dave01 you might be able to help since your wife was also in Calgary when you sent for her passprt. Much appreciated all - and to those waiting keep the faith. We applied on Jan 20th 2014 and were told our Documents were ready end of June - so things in Accra seem to be moving quite fast.
oh ok that was fast then , Dhl had been good for people on here so hopefully they deliver your passport soon. Accra seem to be doing so well. Keep us posted when it get picked up.Thanks for your update.Enyamy said:Thanks for your respoonse Obronibi. See our timeline below;
We applied January 27, 2014
Got sponsorship approval in Feb 26, 2014 and file was transferred same day
Medicals were completed in Oct/Nov before files were sent. (Security clearances were also done around this time. My significant other works in international development so this was a huge challenge as he's lived in several countries and most of these clearances expire after 3 months. When we sent package in January - all but 1 of the security clearances had expired. I'm surprised they didn't ask for new ones. I made a decision to just send regardless, as I figured ites better for them to come back and ask it than to go through the arduos process again of getting a security clearance from SA!)
RPPF was also paid in Jan 2014 when application was submitted
PPR was Jun 11th 2014
Document was ready for pickup on July 8th 2014.
We're currently just trying to get the document from Ghana to here. FedEx has been terrible - but will also try DHL.
Goodluck to all.
