So, yesterday (September 6th) I got an email saying I'm approved to Sponsor my PA. And that the PA will get a mail/update about Schd A form.
How long does it take from Sponsorship Approval to Schd A request ?

Nobody can predict.

Once you complete medical test , you ecas status will be changed to medical test received. If you have already sent your schedule A, your file will be in Delhi office( you would have been notified on email on this) After which the only thing left is decision made for PA and Passport request.

Medicals for my kid were done on 6th August. Have not received any mail from NDVO

Got the Ecas status update- "Medical result received" for my daughter application.
And On sponsorship application " Sent the mail of the decision taken".

Not sure how much time will it take now on DM and PPR request for daughter application

I have been waiting for one month since medicals received for DM. Fingers crossed. I have had people tell me 1-3 months from there. Wishing you get it ASAP.

Did u get any correspondence from NDVO regarding starting processing of your application. If yes, after how many days.

I checked with my lawyer I can apply for visitor visa for my daughter once application no receive from ndvo. Please confirm.

CIC sent the eligibility letter to sponsor of the evaluation and no other form.

Medical request is asked by CIC from mississauga office and after medical result received file get transfer to visa office
Respective visa office start processing PR application of the applicant and send a communication to the main sponsor.
Respective Visa office after processing made the decision and accordingly sent the PPR

If the above process is correct, can u please suggest estimated time for each steps.

The reason I am looking for as I discussed with my lawyer . I can bring my daughter on tourist visa once the application number will be sent by respective visa office and there are different opinions regarding the procesz from the lawyers.just to confirm the same.

Gaurav where is this lawyer you have consulted. India or Canada?? Because if the child is in Canada with a visitor Visa ,how will you be able to send her passport to New Delhi when the decision is made?? Is it legal to send the passport through courier to nother country while the child is in Canada? PL enquire on this and throw some light .

The lawyer is in canada. He told me he did earlier case also accordingly. The landing formality can be done in canada also with various places he suggested. In this case I can bring my daughter and hopefully within six months her PR process will get approved so no extension will be require.

I am starting to get worried about the sponsorship application sent by my husband currently working in Canada for my 11 months old daughter. She was born outside Canada a year after my husband and I became Permanent Residents. My timeline is as follows:

Application sent - 27th July
Application received as per POD Fedex - 1 August

There has been no news ever since. We have seen that the processing time for assessment of sponsor takes 41 days, which is nearly over. We also sent a medical examination information sheet along which was done in June under a refused TRV application stating that the sponsorship was not submitted for the child.

My question is - how long is normal to wait for AOR / SA after the processing time as per website is over?

How long will it take for the CIC to let us know in case we missed any document, and will they simply return or ask for additional documents?

Can we apply for an interim TRV and if yes then at what stage?

We have used the webform today to enquire on the status of the application as the online tool doesn't recognise any credentials.

Any guidance will be appreciated. We were pretty confident about our case

Hang in there. There were two long weekends after your application went in. So the 41 days might be just about. I hope you get your AOR in this week.

Couple of questions:
1. Ecas status shows Decision made for my sponsorship application. And in details, it has a) We received your app; b) We sent AOR, and c) We started processing. But on September 6th, I got an email with an attachment, mentioning the sponsorship approval. But ECAS doesnt show any status like "Sent email on Decision made" (as someone here mentioned earlier). Is this normal ?

2. In the sponsorship approval, it was mentioned, the Schd A request will be sent within 5 business days. Today is the 5th business day since 6th. I havent received any more emails. No updates are there in the linked application as well. Should I be calling the CIC ?
